- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For booking air, I MUST charge a ticketing fee of $25 per ticket, and the charges will be itemized in your quote. My booking fee is $125 per vacation. I do NOT charge up-front fees, nor do I charge a deposit to initiate the booking process. Any deposit received from the client is payable directly to the supplier when booking travel for the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Phase 1 / COMPLETE the Travel Interest Survey. Ask for it by email. Phase 2 / WRITTEN QUOTE - by this stage, the client has selected An Joya Cruise, LLC as the travel agency of choice to provide their vacation package and has excluded other competitors. Phase 3 / BOOKING - During this stage, the travel consultant wants to make sure he or she has air, ground transportation, accommodations, excursions, insurance, and special events addressed. Phase 4 / SERVICING - The travel consultant adds special touches for you, the client, such as a bottle of wine, flowers, chocolates, onboard credit, or other forms of appreciation in your stateroom or at your hotel. The focus here is staying in contact! Phase 5 / SUPPORT - The travel consultant will provide the necessary resources for the instances when something legitimately goes wrong on the trip such as routinely watch the weather for re-accommodation in all areas that clients travel, as well as assist a medical emergency with urging the client's investment in travel insurance coverage. Phase 6 / RETURN - The travel consultant acknowledges clients with a follow-up notice either by phone, email, or a thank you card. He or she also will ask for a review and encourages clients to contact them with their future travel plans.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've worked in the hospitality industry as a desk clerk for 3 years (2009-2012).
