- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our professional mover software will give an estimate based on the information you give us regarding your locations details and inventory.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We require a $200 deposit to schedule your move. That does go towards your move costs. If you need to reschedule...no problem! There is no charge to change the date or time of your move.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
You should visit the Michigan Mover's Association website to check your mover's credentials. If they are listed with the MMA and are on their tariff, that means they are licensed and insured. If they are not listed, check with the Michigan State Police CVED. Every mover in the state of Michigan is required to have a CVED. It is our Licensing. If your mover tells you they don't need a CVED because they use rental trucks, they are wrong. BEWARE there are rogue movers on Thumbtack and who are buying leads from other sources that do not check contractor credentials. Good luck getting your load delivered if you use one of these $80 per hr "movers". Loads are being taken "hostage" and not being delivered to the customer.
