Introduction: Oh there are so many things! What I love most though is meeting new people and being a part of that time in their life. As far as shooting for people I already know, I really like spending time with them in a unique way and being priviledged enough to photograph them. How did you get started doing this type of work?
Two years ago my boyfriend was working and I had a cloudy, empty Saturday afternoon to myself. He suggested I take my point and shoot out for a walk. So I took his advice and went to the cemetary in town (morbid, I know!) Long story short, I fell in love that day and haven't looked back since!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice would be to make sure their portfolio/gallery is consistent and professional, and that it is what you are looking for! Make sure to shop around and get different prices and see what photographers fit your style the best, that way you can be confident in knowing that you'll be happy with the finished product.
