Jim did a phenomenal job with our wedding. We met with him in Chicago a few months before the big day and he was very responsive to emails and texts throughout the entire planning process. He was nice enough to commute to Green Bay the night before our ceremony to conduct our rehearsal dinner. He kept the ceremony content light hearted and honored all of our special requests. Our guests raved about how beautiful our ceremony was and some even found out things about us they didn’t know beforehand as the ceremony was personalized just for Ken and I. I would highly recommend using Wholly Matrimony 4U on your big day.Oct 28, 2019Verified
Fantastic!!! It was so nice having Jim as our officiant. He made it personal and humorous (as we had said we wanted a fun wedding with lots of laughs). Thank you so much couldn't have asked for better!Sep 4, 2017Verified
Jim has been really great to work with. He is very friendly and is making an effort to get to know us before the wedding.May 9, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My fee is unique for every couple. I take every factor into consideration: travel, consultation, my participation in writing the vows or attending the rehearsal, and of course, writing and delivering the ceremony itself. So much more goes into an officiant's job than most couples understand. And my quote is always all-inclusive: I will NEVER return to a client and ask for additional funding.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It's important to me to meet all my new clients face to face – in person if at all possible, through the magic of technology (Skype, FaceTime, etc.) if not. I want to chat for a few minutes, answer any questions they may have, and make certain that we're a great fit for each other. After all, this is probably the most important day in the life of the bride and groom: why shouldn't they have the perfect person for their ceremony?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am an ordained lay minister, licensed to perform marriages in Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio and Wisconsin.
