Latest Review: Initially, I was skeptical about "distance coaching". How could someone in another state, that I'd never met, be my fitness coach? But it works. Getting the benefits of working with a professional trainer, on MY schedule, has been invaluable for me. Through the use of videos, Skype, emails, My Fitness Pal and texts, Brian and I have kept in close contact and have worked together successfully for several months now. He's been able to correct my form to make certain movements more effective, offer nutritional advice and continue to make the process fun and engaging.
Brian took the time to find out what my goals are, what my challenges are, how many days I have to devote to training, what equipment is available to me, etc. It's never felt like One Size Fits All; everything has always been geared specifically towards me and what I'm trying to accomplish.
Knowing there is still an accountability factor is important for me. Regular check ins are a key to making sure that I'm still on track and that any questions or concerns either of us has have are addressed.
