FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been producing beats and emceeing for over 20 years. Becoming a DJ was the next logical step in my mind.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have most often played clubs and/or bars mixing in various genres of music. I have a lot experience playing for all ages and people at outdoor festivals as well. I just started spinning at weddings and have found that they are a lot of fun. I wish I would have gotten into weddings sooner.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
In late 2013, I spun for a fashion magazine launch party in Grand Rapids. I figured that my experience deejaying at Miami lounges would have prepared me for this event. I was right. One of the organizers said to me at the end of the night, "Wow, that music made it feel like this was a real fashion magazine party!" I thought that was kind funny since I thought it was a "real" fashion magazine party! Grand Rapids is getting there...lol.
