Introduction: Lysandra is a Registered Dietitian who has a passion for Holistic Wellness. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics and completed an accredited didactic internship through Michigan State University and also attended Western Michigan University to complete a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and a Graduate Certificate in Holistic Health, to give her the foundation for her work in Weight Management, Community Nutrition, Diabetes program management, Corporate Wellness and Health Clubs to build a broad range of clinical and practical knowledge of Nutrition and Wellness.
Lysandra has over ten years of experience in nutrition counseling, wellness coaching and providing group education on a variety of topics from nutrition, chronic disease, exercise, stress management and more. She has lectured widely on various nutrition and environmental topics. Lysandra is an active contributor in the nutrition community and belongs to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Michigan Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Dietitians of West Michigan and the American Fitness and Aerobics Association holding numerous group exercise instructor certifications.
As a young widow and proud mother of two toddlers, Lysandra has a strong desire to share nutrition messages related to wellness, cooking natural foods and bringing up health conscious families to live well balanced and joyful lives. You will find her practicing yoga, cooking for her family and researching the facts on the latest wellness trends.
