If it were possible to give less than one star, I certainly would. I was very dissatisfied with my trial make-up done by Debra. It did not look anything like I asked nor did it cover as promised. When I informed Debra of my concerns and tried to cancel my wedding day application she recited her contract with me verbatim and told me she would be keeping my money even though she could not upkeep her end of the contract. I paid $90 for a less than subpar trial, it did not last as long as promised, and now Debra is refusing to refund my $102 retainer on top of that for my wedding that she will no longer be doing make up for. I am furious. This is the most dishonest, greedy, unprofessional experience I have ever had. DO NOT BOOK WITH HER! I have photos and emails to support this review. If you want your wedding day makeup to be affordable and everything you've ever imagined, LOOK ELSEWHERE!

TThank for you review. It saddens me that you were not satisfied with your trial. As we only want for all of our clients to be 100% satisfied with their look. We work very hard to be thorough and get a clear understanding of your likes and dislikes prior to all our trials. We sent a makeup questionnaire prior to all trials so that we can learn more about the look you'd like to create. We even ask prior to sealing the makeup at the end of every trial if there is anything you'd like to change. This is our opportunity to correct and make any changes. However when you were asked you stated there was not so we are surprised to see such a review today. As a solution we had discussed a complimentary second trial to you as your concerns were just wanting more coverage on your wedding day: "I definitely think I would like more coverage, as well as a more natural look. I don't think I want the eyeliner or that color eyeshadow. Maybe more neutral colors? I'm not sure". We honestly thought that you would allow us to address and correct your concerns as you agreed to the second trial "I just didn't feel like myself and the coverage was a concern. When would you like me to come in again? How would that work? I don't want to pay for another trial if I don't have to". Nonetheless, we respect your opinion to discontinue services. Unfortunately, per the contract in which you agreed and signed, a non-refundable retainer is required to secure your wedding. It clearly states all cancellations must be made no later than 45 days before services are to be rendered. If notice of cancellation is given less than 45 days before the scheduled date of service, the client will be charged 100% of the contracted rate. However, we stated we would be willing to waive this clause as we only wish that all our brides are completely satisfied and confident in their look for your special day. As a professional wedding vendor, a contract is put in place to protect both the vendor and the client. We do appreciate your feedback and thank you again for considering us for your special day. Congratulations again and best wishes on your upcoming wedding day.
