I can't even explain how great this band is! John and the guys are awesome musicians and one heck of a cohesive unit. They aren't just some band that got together to make a business. They're buddies who have all played together for a number of years and it really shows. My husband and I went to see them last November when we were looking for a wedding band and we were just blown away! We had so much fun that night listening and dancing at the bar. We couldn't believe how good they were (you never know with "wedding bands")! The entire rest of the time that we were planning our wedding The Highballs were the biggest thing that we were looking forward to. At the wedding, we had a blast dancing to them all night. The dance floor was packed with all ages and we couldn't stop smiling. Several of our friends (as well as my husband) are musicians and our friends kept commenting on how "tight" the band was. You can tell that they enjoy playing, they enjoy playing together, and they enjoy playing music to make people dance. John and Niko also played acoustic guitar for our ceremony and it was just perfect - they even learned a totally new song for us. One final note: during our First Dance, a double rainbow suddenly appeared in the sky above us. We saw it out the barn door and just ran outside to see it with all of our guests. The poor band! We left them hanging! What did they do? The started up the chorus to "The Rainbow Connection!" That's how good this band is, folks!
