I needed some professional head shots for my portfolio and I can tell now that hiring Joni was the best choice I could ever make here on Thumbtack!!! Besides having all the qualities of a great photographer, his service is absolutely affordable, too - and this is an important factor for anyone's budget! Here's why I rated 5 stars: Joni is very professional, creative, easy going and patient. He's giving you simple but inspired directions in how to pose or "talk" to the camera, making you feel relaxed and as natural as you can possibly be. The photo session was a fun and enjoying experience and the images were promptly delivered. I'll definitely be a recurring customer in the future and recommend him to other people. In one word, OUTSTANDING!

John is the consummate pro. He picked an amazing location for my photos, he was very exacting in setting up his lights to get the nicest images and most important he made me laugh and feel comfortable taking my photos. 5 stars and thensome.

Joni is a great photographer. We did our shoot using nature as our studio. 👍🏻😄
I told Joni I had to be at the Tigers game at a certain time and.... No problem. He accommodated and really did a good job making me feel comfortable. That's really important when choosing your photographer.
He has a really good eye for beauty and I can't wait to schedule another shoot with him.
