- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The best photographers never stop learning. I attend several photography workshops throughout the year and am part of several photography groups.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have owned a camera (going back to film here) since I was eight years old. My Great Uncle owned a dark room. While visiting him in Wisconsin, a large storm came through the town they live in and he took me out to photograph the aftermath. He showed me the beauty in something catastrophic. I now do everything I can to find beauty in even the worst of situations. I have photographed lives coming into this world and lives leaving.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have dabbled in a little bit of everything, however newborns and high school senior sessions are my favorite. I love animals, so I volunteer some of my services to local shelters to increase the likelihood of the animal being adopted.
