FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I let the client know that I am professional and take the project seriously. I get them to feel comfortable with me. I find this essential because I will be in their home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing this work for 25 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 1994, I was doing some interior work in a home that we were renting from my in laws. The paper was extremely outdated and the lath and plaster walls were falling down in a lot of places. I had some free time on my hands as I was a stay at home mom at the time. I was on a ladder up two stories in my hallway, when my doorbell rang. I scurried down the ladder to find an acquaintance from church standing at my door. I had ordered some fundraiser things from her son and she was there to deliver. She asked me what I was doing so I told her "Come look"....I showed her all the the fancy faux finishes I was attempting for the first time. Un be nounced to me, that was exactly what she did for a living and had her own business. A few weeks later, she called me and told me how impressed she was by what I was doing in my home and asked if I would come to work for her.....and the rest is history 😊
