I've worked with Zach for a few years and couldn't be happier with the experience I've had with him. I had never had private lessons prior to working with Zach; I had been in orchestra for 3 years so I was very used to the group setting. Zach used that information to tailor my lessons to me specifically. He would play along with me which helped me so much. He helped me work on songs for orchestra along with working on solo songs. He's very friendly and pleasant to work with in general. He LOVES oatmeal raisin cookies and accepts them as a valid form of payment :) I absolutely loved working with Zach, he helped me grow as a Cellist over the few years we worked together. He still continues to encourage me in my endeavors even though I'm not taking lessons anymore. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone interested in taking lessons!!
Our daughter has taken piano (and briefly, violin) lessons with Ms. Betz for several years now, starting when she was 4 (she is 8 now). We transferred from another music academy that did not seem to know how to teach young children. We couldn't be more pleased with both the process and the results through Ada Piano Academy. Ms. Betz is very patient and an excellent teacher. She tailors her curriculum to the particular learning styles of her students. Ms. Betz adjusts her teaching as the children mature. With our daughter, for example, Ms. Betz knew just the right time to switch from using little stuffed animals to encourage playing and practice to requiring more self-motivation and responsibility. We are very pleased with the amount of music theory that is included with the lessons, as well as musical education about different genres and musicians. She also allows kids to experiment with different instruments. Ms. Betz is always thinking of fun ways to encourage the kids to practice (like fun holiday practice challenges that can earn a prize), and when they struggle, she thinks of different ways to teach the information they need to learn. She is also always available for questions and offers advice when home practice is a difficult. Ms. Betz offers multiple concerts throughout the year in a very relaxed and non-intimidating atmosphere. She makes the concerts a lot of fun for the kids, including raffles and other entertainment to create an environment where the kids are comfortable and do not get overly nervous about performing (just a healthy dose of butterflies). Ms. Betz is very punctual. Lessons start and end exactly on time. She also allows flexibility in scheduling. Our daughter has developed quite the bond with her, and we are so grateful to have another trusted adult in her life!
Denielle is a wonderful music teacher, caring for her students' growth and success. She is committed to each student finding the love for music that she has experienced all her life.
I have been taking lessons with Natalie for around 8 years. Started learning the violin as an adult with zero music background. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient. I highly recommend her I am proud to be a student of hers!
Voice lessons started in May of this year. Overtime I have learned valuable tricks and tips to help me reach notes with ease and precision. I am not perfect but feel like I am well on my way.
Meredith was very patient and upbeat with my 8 year old daughter who was taking her first violin lessons.
3 of my four children have taken music lessons from TPC over the last 5 years ranging from voice to piano to guitar. The staff makes you feel like part of their extraordinary family and they go above and beyond to educate the kids. We would in turn do anything for them. I am so grateful to be part of their fabulous organization.
I love music, and I especially love helping others enjoy it too. I teach from beginner to intermediate piano and violin lessons with this goal in mind. Here's a little about my qualifications: I have played the piano for 16 years and have studied with several different piano professors including Deborah Moriarty and Irene Peery-Fox. I have taken violin lessons for 12 years and enjoyed playing with the Symphony Orchestra at Brigham Young University. With five years of experience in teaching piano, I am enthusiastic about passing on my love for music to the students.

My name is Amanda. I have almost 11 years of experience under my belt. I have had many students before and have experience in teaching others and working with them to meet their goals. I can teach those of most ages. Eight years old and up are my preferences but I am willing to instruct younger children if needed. I am currently teaching my 10-year old stepson and 6-year old stepdaughter how to play the violin. I plan on teaching my other two stepsons and my own daughter once they reach the proper age. My last student, whom can be contacted for comfirmation, was a student of mine for a few months. She enjoyed how "untense" I was and found herself to be rather comfortable having me as her instructor. She liked the way that I was teaching her and helping with anything she needed. She left as my student due to her work place giving her more permanent hours, so she worked later into the day. And family issues arose. She will be returning soon. We both decided that until she could get the more important things in her life balanced, that it was best for me to end her violin instructions for a bit. You do need to furnish your own violin but if you or your child is large enough for a 3/4's size-one size away from a full sized violin, I can furnish one to be used. For me to furnish such, it would not be allowed to leave my home after classes end, so your lesson times would need to be negotiated to make up for the lack of practice at your own residence. I am lenient but strict at the same time. There is time to be friendly and converse but either before or after the lessons themselves.
I'm a teacher, piano tuner, BA and MM. I offer voice, violin, and guitar instruction services. I have soloed with Saginaw Symphony both in violin and voice. I have directed Church choirs. I am also a music teacher for 15 years and have performed with Chamber Choir of Grand Rapids and Opera Chorus of Grand Rapids.
I offer student-centric violin lessons to all ages designed to build confidence and inspire. New players will learn to love playing the violin utilizing a fun, no-stress curriculum that will allow them to develop a solid playing foundation. We'll go as fast or as slow as we need to ensure individual progress and improvement. For experienced violin players, we'll improve existing skills through a variety of method books, scales, etudes, and performance repertoire. We'll also work on a few pieces just for fun - pieces that are challenging, explore different music styles and encourage personal growth!

I give 30-/45-minute music lessons. I teach violin, viola, and cello. I taught school for many years and also conducted a community orchestra. My students perform at recitals and at a community service.
I've been playing the violin for 14 years. I graduated with an associate's degree in music education and am now working on my bachelor's. I can teach from age four and up and from beginners to intermediate. I can teach from classical to pop music.
I've been teaching voice lessons to all ages since 2009. Many teachers limit their teaching to one style of music, but I am flexible and want to bring out the best performer in every individual. I am trained classically and as such was a two-time finalist in the Opera Grand Rapids Collegiate Competition and have performed at the Opera Grand Rapids Goes Rive Gauche program and became the featured soloist with the Grand Rapids Symphonic Band. What people love about my singing and teaching is that I am versatile. I'm also an accomplished musical theater performer and can sing and teach in pop styles as well. I also teach beginning piano lessons and am the perfect fit for young kids as well as beginning adults. I have a bachelor of music performance and a bachelor of arts in Spanish language. I have studied abroad in Mexico and have a great ear for accents. I can help you improve not only your grammar but also your diction, spelling and conversation skills. I am available to tutor in Spanish over Skype.
Whether it's opera, Broadway or pop, Bradley will give you the techniques for healthy vocal longevity.
I work with the students on their level, teaching fundamentals using a variety of music. I have worked with many different levels and accommodate lessons for students with developmental differences. I help the students set goals and we have fun reaching for those goals.
