- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nationwide, Home Staging typically costs 1-2% of list price; however, the seller must remember that all first impressions of their home are made via online photographs. I will schedule a consultation ($50/hour) to meet the client, assess the home to be staged, and follow up with a written outline of staging plans. The cost of staging of your home starts at $1,500.00 and varies with size of project. Glass City Stagers has an inventory of furniture, decor, linens and accessories for staging. HOME DECORATING: Glass City Stagers can help you decorate your space in fresh and updated ways through accessories, paint, window treatments, flooring and tile choices and furniture pieces. This hourly fee is $25.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After making contact with a customer, I schedule a meeting which enables me to physically see the space they'd like staged, decorated or organized/de-cluttered. This meeting enables me to learn decorating styles, personalities, budget, timeline, etc. I then follow up with a written proposal that outlines my ideas and recommendations to stage or decorate this potential client's space.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed online and in person courses and am a certified Professional Property Stager and member of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), but my vision and inspiration come naturally. I cannot turn it off! Moving as much as we did in a short amount of time, I learned my own "hands on" training quickly.
