I first met Barb at a show in Wacousta. She was very friendly and professional. Months went by until I finally contacted her and Barb actually remembered meeting me. After that we met a couple times as I tried to keep her in loop and share my vision. My wedding had no budget as I didn't want any regrets and it was very important to me that our 80 guests had a memorable experience as much as we did. The ceremony and the wedding both took place at the English Inn in Eaton Rapids. Barb and her assistant arrived at 8:30 am, ceremony was at 6:30pm, and Barb didnt leave until after the cake was served. She had a long day! However she never showed it! She also did the ceremony rehearsal early in the day for which we had plan A and B if it rained.and it started to sprinkle as the guests were arrivingugh. On to plan B which got a little crazy but we pulled it off! The evening was magical and I wish I could do that every Saturday. Barb provided lots a helpful hints and tips during the planning. She also has a selection of décor that we could use at no extra cost. We both have a peeve of wrinkled linens so Barb and her assistant made sure that all the table clothes and over-lays were freshly pressed. The dining room and the lounge looked gorgeous. If you are looking for an event planner I highly suggest Bashes by Barbie. She remained professional throughout the entire experience. I dont know how she does it but she does. Barb always communicated if there was an extra cost involved and if so how much. Barb if you are reading this know that I value your expertise, experience, honesty, and sincerity. Kerri

Barb was amazing! She helped plan our wedding at the opera house. She was on time and kept everything on schedule. I ordered my linens, vases, some decorations and flowers from her. The flowers we're gorgeous, everybody still compliments them (: she made our wedding perfect and I really appreciate all the hard work she did. I can honestly say she went ABOVE and BEYOND! Thank you so much 😁

Barb really went above and beyond when helping to plan my wedding. She was there practically every step of the way as we hired her very early on in the planning process. She helped keep me on track even with a busy schedule and many things going on. She made sure to understand the vision I had for our wedding and truly make it come to life. On the day of the wedding, Barb started very early to get everything in place and stayed throughout the entire event. I was so grateful to have her to get everything set up and looking beautiful that day, I received a ton of compliments on the decor. Oh and our bouquets were beautiful! She was able to obtain lilacs per my request even though they are very seasonally dependent. She helped work with me with prices of rentals and decorations when I was feeling overwhelmed with costs towards the end of the planning process. Even though our day was rainy and a bit muddy towards the end (we had an outdoor venue), I truly had a magical day. Thank you Barb for all of your hard work!

Barb was awesome!! Communication was great day or night. Flowers were beautiful and lasted after the wedding. It rained/snowed/sleeted on our wedding day, she brought umbrellas for everyone and made sure we all had what we needed!!! Very much in charge at rehearsal and day of with detailed timeline.

I've done this part-time for years, but decided to go full-time in 2013! I am loving every busy minute of it!
