I was planning a Celebration of Life event for my brother-in-law and had wanted to hire a musician to play acoustic guitar for the event. I came across Dan’s information on thumbtack and was very impressed! His information was professional, thorough and he responded right away, with the utmost kindness and respect for the type of event that it was. Every contact I had with Dan from that point, was the same. He was early to the event and brought all of his own equipment, including an extra (sanitized) microphone for my husband to give a toast with. And the best part, his music! He played a variety of acoustic rock and even learned a special song I had requested! His music was everything I had hoped for and pictured in my head for this event. Family and friends are STILL talking about how good he sounded! I can’t thank him enough for helping us celebrate my brother-in-law’s life so well. I felt my brother-in-law’s love and happiness, shining down on us that day.Sep 2, 2020Verified

Dan came to my home to play for a wedding. He came early and stayed late. Most important however the music was great as well as his personality. Highly suggest doing a jig with Dan!Sep 1, 2020Verified

I hired Dan to play a private party. He was early for the show. He had all of his gear setup before people arrived. His equipment was top notch with great sound quality. His song list covers many different styles and genres. He plays and sings wonderfully! I would recommend him to play any event.Feb 10, 2020

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing varies depending on what clients are looking for. I can do solo acoustic, duo, trio or full band. Pricing increases as musicians are added. My minimum booking fee for solo acoustic is $500. The Phoenix Theory is $5K (plus travel expenses when applicable).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I pride myself on meticulous, but friendly interaction with my clients from the very start. I am extremely detailed in the contract we engage in, and I do that not for me -- but for you. That way all of my clients' needs and wishes are spelled out very clearly from the start of our interaction so there are no miscommunications or surprises on the day of your event. I run all of my businesses this way; with 10 years of experience under my belt, the bumps in the road have been paved along the way!
