Matt came out to give me a free estimate, which was very generous in itself. I needed an old breaker box replaced to 100 amp service. The estimate was very reasonable and about what I figured it might be. So no surprises there. It was around noon and he said that he could probably get it done that day if I wanted. That was a good surprise. He went and got the permit and supplies and had it pretty much completed by 5:30 and finished early the next morning. He worked in the extreme summer heat and some rain and did a great job. He and everyone at Mr. Electric that I had contact with were very courteous, prompt, and professional. I will definitely use again, and I highly recommend them.

The price they quoted included replacing the entire fixture. However, he was able to save it and only had to replace a wire, but still charged me the full amount.

Rebecca, He charged you the full price because he did purchase a new fixture and used all of the parts that were in the box to make the repair. He was able to make it work with the frame of your old fixture and is/was under the impression that you wanted him to do so because it wouldn’t look right if it was mismatched with your other fixtures. We cannot return the fixture after using all the parts and the price is fair.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our Electricians show up to your home to discuss your needs and prepare an exact quote for you as well as do a Free Home Safety Inspection. They will go over any repairs/costs with you so you know exactly what you are paying for and tell you what they will be doing while they are in your home. In most cases, the Electrician will be prepared to do the work on the same day they quote it.
