As a fitness enthusiast and former collegiate athlete I have had the opportunity to work with many coaches, instructors and trainers, none of which had worked as hard for me or produced greater results than Amanda. From our initial appointment on Amanda immediately made me and my goals feel like a top priority and worked to craft a training and nutrition regimen which could help me achieve new heights. She demonstrated a level of thoroughness in her assessment I had not yet experienced and used the information garnered from this process to create a strategy to not only strengthen my liability but maximize my strengths, as well. I have learned a ton from her, much of which I still implement in my training to this day. Working with Amanda has changed my life and I can't thank her enough! I had reached a plateau in my weight loss/fitness journey and was getting frustrated. Amanda asked me lots of questions about my eating and workout habits. She identified areas where I could improve my diet; she got really into detail and talked specifics. I really appreciated the time she put into figuring out the best course of action for me. She answered all of my questions with patience and understanding and followed up consistently to see if I had any concerns or difficulties. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?First session is free: includes a postural analysis, movement screening, nutrition consultation, and short workout. This gives you an idea of what it will be like working with me, and allows me an opportunity to show you my approach. No strings attached, if it's not for you, I won't be offended! All training packages include nutrition coaching.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A postural analysis and movement screening is conducted so that I can get an idea of the client's strengths, weaknesses and imbalances (we all have them, it's ok!). From there a highly individualized program is created to address those areas which ensures that progress is fast and the risk of injury is minimized. All sessions are 1 hour in length.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a degree in Exercise Science, a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion, I'm Precision Nutrition certified, and I'm constantly attending seminars and taking courses to advance my knowledge base.
