- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing schedule is pretty straightforward. Labor ranges between twenty and thirty percent depending on the difficulty of design. Some things that look complicated are a breeze and some designs that seem rather simple take hours of work. We don't like unpleasant surprises though and don't expect that our customers will either. All our counter books are priced up front and will very rarely differ from what is written. (Example: Valentines day market prices go up and we can't do anything about that, but we will tell you immediately if the flowers you are looking at are available at those prices for the time your event is scheduled.)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly attending design shows and floral open houses and subscribe to publications in our field that keep us up to date with new flower hybrids and new gadgets that make our work more efficient! Information is crucial!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most couples want us to both deliver and set up their flowers. It takes a huge amount of stress off them. Once in your life you get to be a prince and princess! Your wedding day should be one that you look back on fondly...not one that you're happy to get it over with.
