Josh is such a great teacher and Lolly is becoming more confident and really enjoying her voice lessons.
I am taking voice lessons with a focus on musical theater from CJ. He is prompt and comes to my home (outstanding in the winter). He is talented, experienced and personable and I look forward to my lessons!
I studied with Mrs. Fielder for four years. I started taking voice lessons when I was a freshman in high school and continued my voice lessons throughout all of high school. Not only did Mrs. Fielder get to know me as a student, but she really knew who I was as a person. My vocal technique improved substantially. I learned how to sing in classical, musical theatre, jazz, opera styles in a healthy way. If certain songs were not fitting my voice, she was flexible and I always felt comfortable telling her how I felt about the music I was singing. Mrs. Fielder is very knowledgable about the repertoire she finds for her students and about the voice. She teaches a wide range of students differing in age and gender. She taught me proper ways to not only sing, but to take care of my voice if it was tired from long rehearsals from school musicals, if I was sick, or vocally tired. She was supportive every step of the way; including solo and ensemble, school musical auditions, NATS, and college auditions. She encouraged me to love my own voice and be confident in all of my performances. I learned so much about musicality and myself as a human being. I am now minoring in music at Michigan State University. If it wasn't for Mrs. Fielder, I would not be the singer/performer I am today, let alone the confident woman I am today. She is an inspiration and you will be one lucky student if you have Mrs Fielder as your teacher.
My son wanted to take voice lessons. We met with Vigil and he was wonderful. We had the lesson with Marty. He couldn't be any better with. My son was not very cooperative. We will not be returning, but the staff was great.
I would highly recommend Vanessa to anyone interested in piano lessons for their children or themselves! My son started taking lessons with her at age 6, with no musical experience. He loves taking lessons, and we just cannot believe how much he has learned in just one year. Vanessa has a great teaching approach, obviously, since we all know how hard it is to keep little boy's attention! Vanessa does a great job with motivating the kids, and the recitals are such a good opportunity for them to perform in front of groups. Vanessa is personable and very accomodating, and always goes above and beyond.....I feel so lucky to have found her!
My daughter loved her trial lesson for voice. She felt very engaged with Ms. Rebecca. Place is very warm and child friendly.
I have been taking piano lessons with Sharon for about 3 months now and I really enjoy it. As a busy professional who started from scratch, I feel I have learned a lot more than I expected, both in theory and technique. Even though I myself haven't been able to make the time I had planned when I started, I have made progress more than my expectations, thanks to her effective teaching approach. She always makes sure to create an enjoyable and comfortable atmosphere for you to learn by trying. She enjoys answering your questions and always responds thoroughly. She is very knowledgeable and experienced and at the same time pleasant, patient and understanding and makes the learning a fun experience. If you are looking for a teacher to learn piano the right way, she is the one to work with. I would highly recommend her to any body at any age and any level.
I'm a return oboe player and really enjoy the lessons offered by Kaycee. She tries to make me understand with patience on how to make right voices by comparing with real world objects, as a steady basis is the most important for any instrument player. She can accurately judge my every try and give me advice which immediately leads my improvement in next try. She has a studio with warmth. Really learnt a lot from her experience.

Hello. I specialize in vocal lessons and also have experience with piano and guitar. I've sang for a number of years, led worship at church, and directed several choirs. Some of my accomplishments include winning a trip to South Africa through a vocal performance, singing with Christian Music's Chris Tomlin, singing with Christian Music/Sanctus Real's Matt Hammitt, and obtaining scholarships to local universities for voice. It is my goal to encourage healthy and smart singing. I strive to bring the best out of all of my clients.
I am a Detroit-based singer/songwriter/arranger and producer. I've been teaching voice since high school where I began directing a 70-voice choir and singing in a traveling gospel group w/a fully-appointed band. Since then, I have been teaching others how to sing, as individual performers and in a group setting. Though my primary focus is working with choirs and praise teams, in a church setting, I also currently provide vocal instruction to individuals, groups/ensembles/praise teams, and choirs, covering areas such as: learning to sing melodies, learning to sing in harmony (from basic to complex), learning how to interpret songs/lyrics and to connect with an audience, learning how to sing ad-libs, learning how to perform duets and how to use proper placement of ad-libs. Proper breathing technique, rhythm, conducting/directing and working with musicians in a choir setting are also taught.
