What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We assist in the selection of your retail purchases such as shades, finials and parts at no additional charge. Lamp repair/restoration work is based on time and material. Initial estimates can be prepared, but are not guaranteed to be the final cost due to additional work and materials that may be required once we start the repair. Sometimes we have to take the lamp apart to assess what needs to be done, and we will call you upon your request to get your approval for that work.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
This is a family owned and operated business. I grew up in this store and am proud to carry on my parents' fine traditions and standards.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone whose knowledge and experience comes from well-established businesses. We were established in 1954 - this is our 57th year of doing lamp and lighting repairs, and tending to your lighting needs.
