Karyn S. says, "I contacted David based on reviews and one of his speciality areas (respiratory). After speaking on the phone, I was even more impressed and knew I would hire him when I was ready. He exceeded my expectations during our first 2 visits (assessments) - he was more thorough than my doctors! I have a very rare lung disease and have to be cautious with how much I exert myself. David read up on my disease and immediately understood it and my limitations. Something that the respiratory therapists at Beaumont were clueless to (despite my discussions with them). In fact their plan set me back in a very negative way (took months to recover). They just throw you on a treadmill, hand bike, etc and check oxygen saturation and blood pressure every so many minutes. No discussions or consideration of my situation other than "we need to show improvement each visit or insurance won't pay". I love the personalization that David offers. I have had about 4-5 sessions so far. David is punctual, professional, thorough, consciousness and patient. He explains the why of each exercise - which is something that is important to me. Through his guidance, I am already able to breath better and deeper and understand how to control it when necessary to oxygenate. We are also working on building my strength. I feel exhililerated and energetic after each session. I am looking forward to working with him on a long term basis and HIGHLY recommend him."See more

It has been a long search to find an in-home personal trainer for my partner and I, let alone someone with the work ethic and quality of character that Stephen embodies. This man showed up on day one not only ON TIME (early, actually), but he did so for a very early morning appointment with a fairly long trek in a SNOWSTORM!
