- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Always negotiable. Even if I submit a single price, don't take that to be the end all and be all. I can work with most budgets. Usually I can cut a deal if it's long in advance (over 3 months from now).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I have to understand the event. I do a variety of events from small dinner parties (less than 10 people) to full blown weddings and festivals (100's, 1000's). If it's a wedding I'll get more specific for what the couple wants and tailor a service especially for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Played the organ since I was 5, school bands on various instruments into college, University of Illinois Concert Bands. Had a business working strictly on weddings in the 1990's in Tennessee and Georgia. Been in multiple classic rock bands over the last 10 years.
