- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Many moving companies charge in hour increments only. No customer wants to be charged an entire hour for using 10-20 minutes of extra service. 1st Response Moving Co. charges in 15-minute increments to help reduce your moving costs. Many moving companies may charge a service fee, travel fee, and fuel fee, in addition to the time from and to the truck yard. Michigan law mandates that customers are charged from and to the company truck yard. Many companies may add/charge 3-4 additional fees. For example Travel Fee, Service Fee, Fuel fee, Handling Fee, Maintenance Fee, etc. Be sure that you understand the specific fees you are being charged, and what the fees consist of.
