Dog training type
Board and train at a facility
I lost hope with my 2 year old Lab. He was filled with anxiety every trip we went on and even snipped at some younger children. After 4 weeks of board and train with Anna, my dog came back with more confidence and was very much laid back on our latest trip. I know I still have to work hard on my end, but Anna definitely gave my Lab a great head start. It was very hard to leave him for so long, but after seeing all he learned I knew he was in good hands. I would even use Canine Co-Pilots for boarding while out of town!Sep 6, 2017Verified
Anna and her team have been extremely capable and professional in identifying and applying the training requirements for our family hound dog. We could not be more satisfied with the whole Canine CoPilots Training Dog Training experience---kudos to Ann and her team. Karl & AndreaSep 28, 2017Verified
Made an appointment say they can do my dog good hes a young growing dog if dosent do well in the environment i want him back home sent a adult dog out to a training facility dog lost 10 pounds in 7 days I called and asked how he was doing they said he was doing fine I went over there and picked him up and took him to the vet immediately where he stayed at the veterinarian's for 3 days because he was so sick I don't trust anybody !!! Trainer's lie to get business unless there show dog trainers that want your dog to be at its best well thumbtack i had 10 so called training people get a hold of me all wanted to tell me how much money it would cost and how money would be paid to them so much to book so much when they pick the dog up in the final payment when you pick the dog up but nobody would guarantee what they could do for my dog or how they were going to train it or anything else here all seem to be worried about the fucking money and how they're going to be paid not what they could do for me or my dog !!!Oct 23, 2017Canine Co Pilots Dog Training's reply
Mr Kent, with all due respect, I have 6 dogs in training in my kennel every month for 12 months a year. We work tirelessly 24hours a day 7 days a week to ensure that we give the highest quality of care and training possible. Kennels are mopped, cleaned, and disinfected daily to ensure these things do not happen. Not a single other dog in our history, or any current dog, is or has been sick or come down with any kind of infection or illness while in our care, which goes to show this was an isolated issue. While we understand that Rommel did come home thin (which is explained by the intestinal infection) we did communicate with you as soon as we noticed the weight loss and we're reassured by you to "keep feeding him" and "you knew how to fatten him up," therefore we proceeded as usual, while freely feeding him as much as he wanted to eat. In response to your concern about his ankles, Rommel is a young energetic dog who frequently jumped up and down in the kennel and rubbing his legs on the sides, which I believe is how those came to be. Regardless of all this, we really enjoyed working with you and Rommel, and take a lot of pride in our training with him. We know that with proper leadership and handling you can be a very successful team. We stand behind our work and would like to continue our relationship with you and Rommel. We understand right now you are upset and frustrated about all this , however we are willing to pay your $160 vet bill in an effort to minimize this conflict and move forward in our professional relationship with you and Rommel. Please note that paying for the vet bill is not an admission of fault or guilt, and are in no way obligated to pay this, as per our contract, but feel it is the right thing to do. We also stand behind our offer of support training private lessons in your home when it is convenient for you. Once again, I hope you find this message in good taste. Thank you again for choosing us Anna and Jeofrey

Anna did a wonderful job with both our dogs, 3 year old German Shepherd mix and a 12 week old lab mix. The German Shepherd had severe anxiety issues and the lab mix was a strain that was found covered in filth. Both dogs now know basic commands and more self-confidence. Plus she kept us updated the whole time and showed us what we needed to continue the training.Feb 8, 2016Verified

Anna has been absolutely amazing! She is so understanding and so realistic about training. My dog has only been with her a little over a week and she has kept in great contact with me about his improvements. Highly recommend her service! Not only a great trainer but just a very reasonable person :)Nov 13, 2015Verified
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Associate of Business Administration, bachelor's of Animal Behavior Science
- How did you get started doing this type of work? The decision to become a dog trainer was very easy for me. I believe everyone is put here for a purpose... This is mine. Dog training is not a job for me... it is a lifestyle.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?May of 2016, 6 weeks after my son was born, my 4 year old German Shepherd Draco and I earned his second IPO3 title. Finishing with a national qualifying score of 277, High in Trial, High IPO3, High Tracking, obedience, and protection . With a brand new baby, I can honestly say we did not prepare as I would have liked, but my past training held solid. I worked 4 years with this dog, and I think the fact I could literally pull him.off the couch and qualify for nationals is a testimony to my training.
