FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I have completed numerous editing or proofreading assignments in 2012. I make suggestions and offer solutions for my clients. I proof for verb and subject agreement, spelling, flow of ideas, quotation statements and the reference list and of course more! I can tell you your writing level. I have edited many college/university assignments. I enjoy studying the uniqueness of ebonics in our language. I am always ready for a new challenge! I enjoy the written word.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I suggest a phone conversation between the professional and the customer. As a book editor, I suggest the customer send at least two pages to the professional for review and editing. There needs to be open lines of communication between the writer and the editor or words might be lost in translation. I always edit a few pages before I am hired. I feel it is a professional requirement to secure the editing position.Jenifer
