Introduction: The instructors at My Hero Dog Training have years of experience in the fields they teach. Each specializes in different aspects of dog training including basic puppy classes, agility, musical freestyle, conformation, obedience and aggression. We are by far the best trainers in Oakland County and we use the techniques of POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT to teach. We do NOT believe in punishment, intimidation or force, We LOVE to see the bond between a dog and their human partner grow into a relationship of love and trust. Having this special bond makes a dog want to be with their owner and behave.

I have been taking lessons with My Hero and I have ,earned an quite a bit from Roz's technique and knowledge. I highly recommend them for Agility and Obedience training.

I found roz on google but then I talk to her in person at a dog show the winter dog classic. She was rude and didn't look like she knew what she was doing. I would not recommend

I am really sorry you feel the way you do. My team and I help co-ordinate and facilitate MDCDT at the show. It is a very busy event. Did you participate with your dog? With more than 100 years of combined experience, it is hard to believe that anyone, including me, did not know what we were doing. We have been working the AKC since the inception of this event. Please come next year and give us a chance to help you again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees for classes vary depending on the class. A "Loyalty Discount" if offered to students who continue training at My Hero Dog Training. Punch cards are also available for some classes. This allows students to not have to pay for missed classes.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The instructors have years of experience. They all have attended and continue to attend workshops/seminars in their chosen field. They also travel throughout the country and Canada to present seminars in their field The owner of My Hero Dog Training has a Masters of Education and is certified through several organizations, including the American Kennel Club (AKC) and My Dog Can Do That as an instructor and elevator for all levels of the Canine Good Citizen Tests, and Trick Dog Tests. Instructors are also Professional Members of APDT
