- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our base price starts at $65.00 per hour. I do however typically bid on jobs as a flat fee for the project. The charge for estimates is $35.00 and we will credit this toward your bill if you choose us to do the work. Usually I charge by the hour for Service calls or special projects that cannot be bid on. I will always provide the customer an estimate of charges before work is done. We do offer discounts based on the type of payment made. If paying by credit card we charge a 3% fee for processing
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we decide to work together I provide you with an estimate describing services I will provide and fees to be charged. If the job is to be billed at an hourly rate we will negotiate that rate and place a cap on the project or service call. We will make every attempt to estimate the time needed but remember this is just an estimate. We cannot be held liable for unforeseen problems or issues. We will notify you the customer immediately of any problems or issues and you as the customer will make the decision on whether to proceed or not. We require a certain percentage of money down for larger bid jobs (usually 50%) and balance is to be paid upon completion of work stated in the contract.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a previously licenced builder I have vast knowledge of residential and commercial building codes and am able to repair many items found in your home or business. I also have a college degree in Electronics and have received extensive certifications in electronic systems including but not limited to Security systems, (Including Access control, and Cameras), Home theater and media install and repair,
