The two men who arrived were punctual and very nice. Gave me a transparent estimate before starting the work. I was amazed with how fast these guys put this junk in their truck. One of the items was really heavy and they threw it in there like it weighed nothing. I was very impressed with this service. I would hire again.

window time was 9-11 am, show up at 12:45 , I had to call them to see if they were coming, probably should had been my first clue that got - junk to not hire this company, little communication and not on time. When the crew got to look at project, ‘ask if they had some furniture blanket to wrap the tv so as to not nick the walls, the reply, was we remove junk, not a furniture mover. my second clue to not hire. After calling into the office, said would not risk going up the stair, but assured me they could take the tv out the basement walkout sliding door. The door was stuck shut due to recent paint job, asked the crew if they could come back when I got the door unstuck. An hour later at 2:00 pm call and ask if the crew could come back to complete the job as I was able to get the door open, that Got Junk assured me they could get it out the patio door. Given a time slot of 3-5:00 pm, second crew showed up at 5:30 no notification on their way just showed up 30 minutes outside the window given. I explained to this crew that the first crew did not feel comfortable to take it up the stair, even though the measurement confirmed that it was able to fit but again no protective blanket, so they said they could take it out the patio door, and I asked if they were sure and perhaps should measure to be positive. I mentioned this was the way the first crew intended to move the TV. I was asked if I had a tape measure, which I responded and asked if they didn’t have a tape measure what kind of company who moves stuff would ask their client for trade item they should have, but given they don’t have moving blanket, I guess their response make sense, after all GOT JUNK moves junk, they are not a MOVING Company, on my way with strike three with GOT JUNK. At this time the crew leader said they were going to call the supervisor. I was put on speaker and the supervisor asked why I wasn’t explained the wavier I was suppose to sign. Wavier, what wavier. STRIKE THREE, I immediate told the supervisor I did not want to hire this company or have any dealing what so ever with such an unprofessional company. GOT JUNK deserves NO Stars, unless your stuff is neatly placed out side by the curb for this company to just load from the curb , do not hire, unless 1/4 of the truck is worth $465 for you to do all the heavy lifting and put the items out by the curb.. No Thanks, will not be hire this company now or EVER

Since we price based on how much space your junk takes up in our truck, it’s much easier to provide an estimate in person. Our crew will arrive onsite to take a look at your junk and provide an exact price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customers can book an appointment with us either online or by calling us at 1-800-GOT-JUNK. We'll come to your location at the appointment time and take a look at what you want to get rid of. Then we’ll give you a price estimate and let you choose to proceed. Once you’ve agreed to the price, we’ll get to work! We do all the heavy lifting—you won’t have to lift a finger. We’ll even sweep up after we’re done!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
1-800-GOT-JUNK? began in 1989, when college student Brian Scudamore encountered a tight summer job market in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada. After seeing an old, junk-hauling truck rumbling along a McDonald’s drive-thru, he was inspired to start his own business. What began as a means to pay for college quickly turned into a unique business - a franchise of professional junk removal. Brian eventually changed the company name to 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, invested in more trucks, hired great people, and set a goal to build a brand that would become a household name. Since 1998, the company has grown to approximately 200 locations across three countries.
