- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system isnt too complicated. All of my pricing is price per square foot or price per lineal foot. However, its still has a base of how long it takes and how much material is used. But, breaking it down to the square foot or the lineal foot allows me to provide the customer with an extremely accurate price that is competitive with other painters.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The best thing a painter can do to continue their educational process is to stay knowledgeable of the current products and application techniques. The best way to do this is by going to pro shows and talking with product representatives. I also find that forming a close nit community with your fellow painters helps a lot.
