I took lessons for about a year and only stopped because I had to leave Minnesota. I went once a week for a 45min class. Mike has been nothing but amazing. Not only is he very knowledgeable about music, he’s truly an amazing guitarist. He’s also very personable and so is his cat, Nugget! I went from not knowing a thing about the Blues to absolutely loving it. Mike is a very patient guy and really works with his students so that they get the most out of lessons. He listens to what you want to learn and keeps your lessons interesting. He was also very accommodating with my unpredictable work hours. I can confidently say that if you’re serious about learning to play or improving your technique or learning some music history, Mike is your man! He’s the best thing that happened to me in Minneapolis and if I’m ever back I would take lessons from Mike in a heartbeat. Also, check out his band, Crooked Dice, I assure you, they will NOT disappoint 👌👌👌👌
WOW!! EVERYONE KEEPS COMPLIMENTING OUR BAND!!! We checked out every band in town and these guys were head and shoulders above the rest!!! The Dap Squad is THE BEST live band we've heard and we checked them ALL out!! We saw these guys in Iowa at a stranger's wedding (by accident) and we said then if we ever got married, this WOULD be the band. As luck turns out they were actually from Minnesota. We went with the full 10 piece because we are only doing this once and wanted the to make a splash. Wow, I just can't say enough. They KILLED Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, Prince, etc.. My sister turned to me at the end and said if she ever gets married they will hire this band... I'm just waiting because I already know. ;-) This band is magic!!!
Kathleen and the BKS Band were great at the 2013 Freedom Jazz Festival! Always great music, sound, on time, professional!! Everyone enjoyed the performances!
Dan Schwartz recently provided music for our wedding. We had about 80 adult guests at the Bachelor Farmer, and Dan's music fit the atmosphere and mood perfectly. He is very versatile, easily transitioning from ceremony to cocktail hour, to playing later in the evening with his group, the Neighborhood Trio. Guest after guest made a point of commenting on how much cooler his music was than the typical wedding DJ or top 40 band, and we couldn't have agreed more! Dan was also very easy to work with, coordinating directly with the restaurant's event coordinator regarding set-up and other logistics, so we could just relax and enjoy our wedding. Bottom line: I would HIGHLY recommend Dan to anyone looking for first-rate guitarist!
Tim Price was a valued member of our band for over 10 years. His creativity, work ethic and professionalism was always displayed at the highest level. My two favorite things about Tim are his entertaining stage presence and his willingness to be a team player at all times. In addition to these qualities, Tim is a good Christian and a great guy! He comes with my highest recommendation. Paul Shane Banks & Shane Atlanta, GA
Rock It Man's owners responded quickly and with thoroughness when the client came to them at the last minute. I am glad I was available, as it was a great gig! I was treated professionally and paid well.
Scott is a warm and personable guy, and very knowledgable about music. I genuinely enjoyed working with him to secure music for our wedding reception. We were thrilled with our band, The Covers.
Ever since I attended a local gig that Radio Active played at, I have been following their band. I have been to their last few events and have had a blast! They are great musicians and vocalists. I would recommend Radio Active for almost any occasion! They keep the crowd dancing!
To use an acronym to describe Les Izmoore, I would say WTF! (Wonderfully Talented Ferpormers!!!) These guys were Led Zeppelin before there was a dirigible. And who's more popular...J.C., or the Beatles??? Neither, it's Les Izmoore by a long shot. It ain't even close. While you may never hear Lez Izmore and Eye Candy in the same sentence, these guys are all exceptional musicians and amazing performers. Unlike bands I've been in...these guys start and end at the same time. Incredible, right? I've always wondered why I couldn't do that! If you want a great band, at a great price, that is better than you could have hoped for...these guys are it. At some point, they'll have to change their name to Moore Izmoore. Cheers music fans...these guys will make your day!
We were recently lucky enough to have the Neighborhood Trio play at our wedding, which was about 80 adults at the Bachelor Farmer. We didn't want a DJ or top 40 band, as we were aiming for more of a cool, lounge vibe where our guests could enjoy a drink and some music but still have a conversation. After all, many had flown across the country to celebrate and visit with us and each other ... We weren't sure how to go about searching for musicians to fit this bill, but with the Neighborhood Trio we stumbled into the perfect solution. Their music is awesome, and it set the perfect mood for an awesome party! Nothing against Journey covers, but if you are looking for a slightly more sophisticated option, look no further. As their website said, their music is "perfect with a dry martini" ...
We really enjoyed Mary as our children's piano teacher. Our daughter is a fluent piano player and uses her musical talent In a band every week. My sons received the musical training they needed to be proficient with drums. Mary is kind, gentle and encouraging. She is prepared for her lessons. We highly recommend her.
BW&M will be the highlight of your party or event. Besides being phenomenal musicians, they are great people and easy to work with. Lots of bands can play great covers, but this band is stacked with 3 amazing vocalists that have a ton of energy. Great for weddings, concerts, parties, etc.
LOVED!!!! they did a great job, would hire again!

They are a husband-and-wife duo with an option for a full band. In one week, down in Eureka Springs, AR, on tour, they played a blues festival (Bikers, Blues, and BBQ festival), a country bar (Chelsea's), and a jazz lounge (the Voulez-Vous). There's a bit of chemistry going on, and they are enjoyable to watch and listen to. They are a perfect fit for any occasion!
We are a high-energy live band performing inspired covers as well as original material with heavy 80's flavor. The sound is "Santana and Prince meet the Rolling Stones and Kid Rock" with a bit of EWF thrown in. Established in 1981, these 1985 star search winners (The Sweep) were inducted to the Mid-America Music Hall of Fame in 2010. Customers of all ages love our interaction with the audience during our performances. Watch our video clips on YouTube or our website. We're also on Facebook.
