Allen did a great job, on a Sunday and arrived promptly. I like that he explained what he was doing and gave me advice on the faucet and plumbing in anticipation of future needs. Thank you Allen!
Steve definitely exceeded our expectations. We initially started working with Steve for repositioning of kitchen cabinetry, but as first-time homebuyers, we started needing help with other projects, too. He seemed to know the answer to every question we threw at him. In addition to the cabinetry, he gave us great results with replacing a water-damaged subfloor and the removal+replacement of an outdated built-in hearth. Not only is he knowledgeable, he's also professional and communicative, and we are happy to count Steve as our go-to handyman.
Michael came out the day he said he was going to and took a look at everything I needed done. He listened to what I wanted, made suggestions and improvements, and also showed me some options that will tie this project in to my future kitchen remodel. Very knowledgeable guy and very easy to talk to. I hired him to do the project and he scheduled it within a very reasonable timeframe. Very happy so far and excited to get the work done.
Cory did a GREAT job with all our projects. The tiling looks great and the bath and kitchen make the house look like a new place. Everything was perfect! Thank you!
I was so impressed with the reaction time from Deborah & her team. She reached out to me within minutes and scheduled a time to come to my home the next morning. The crew was able to determine the source of my problem and went right to work. I was provided with a preliminary quote and if there were any changes or modifications I alerted prior to work being performed. The crew was professional, clean, and in and out of my home within 3 days and everything was like new. And their office staff worked directly with my insurance company to get the check issued directly to them.....the only out of pocket was my deductble. This company took a painful and stressful situation for me and my family and neutralized it and bared all the burdens. They also do rebuilds and home remodeling, which we will be asking them to come back in the spring to perform. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
Was on time and checked other areas of my plumbing to ensure no other leaks. Will more than likely have him bid for a bathroom remodel
Greg did a great job remodeling our bathroom. He installed new tile, wood trim, moved and installed a new vanity light and troubleshooted and solved some curve balls that came up along the way. I highly recommend and will keep him in mind for future projects!
I contracted with WD Home Repairs for: - demo of an existing bathroom consisting of carpet, toilet, cabinetry, sinks, and 1-piece fiberglass shower unit - floor tile installation - shower tile installation (walls and floor) Throughout the process, Donald was responsible, approachable, and reasonable. The quote for the project beat top-rated bathroom remodeling firms (Angie's List) by a significant margin. WD Home Repairs maintained an eye for detail while completing the project. As with any project of this scale, a couple of unforeseen issues came up. I was impressed with the speed and positive attitude in which WD Home Repairs resolved these issues. I am pleased with the finished project. The overall experience was largely worry-free. I would not hesitate to contract with WD Home Repairs again for future tiling projects.
I had my interior trim and doors installed and painted. I had started the process a couple years ago, but was having difficulty finishing the project with 3 young boys and all there activities. I hired Adventure 25 to come out and give a bid and they could start the project in about a week. The first part of the process was to finish the trim work and rip all the basement trim out and a couple of doors that had not been replaced yet. The trim work was done in a couple of days. The painting was delayed because of rainy weather. This is where the stress begins. The prep work that comes before painting can be a lot of work and time consuming. There was little to no prep of the trim. Lots of missed nail holes, lots of missed caulking and the stuff that was done was very poor. I was told that this is high quality paint and it will cover in one coat. I know better. It can take several coats to make the white trim look good. There was paint all over the wood floors, tile in kitchen, paint on the cabinets, paint on my trees outside, paint on the concrete driveway, paint on my fire pit. There seemed to be no care in the world. Jaimie kept telling me that we are not painters. I understand that but my 5 year could of done better. It was supposed to be rolled and instead there was pain brush marks all the trim. The one painter said he thought it would look cute to but swirls with his brush on the top of all the door trims. I met with Jaimie 4 different times to which he said how do I make this right? I would go through things with him and come home at the end of the day to find more of a mess and continued poor quality work. I have never seen anything like this. He would say it would be fixed but I don't think he would watch over his workers and forget to tell them things. I am stressed out beyond believe as my hope was to have this finished to spend more time with my kids. Instead I have to redo most of it. I had another contractor come out and told me it would be about 10 thousand to fix. He never had seen such poor quality work. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. Very nice person but I think he was over his head and always in a rush, hence the poor quality work. Since I cant pay 10 thousand to someone to fix it, I am now looking at a year or so to fix my trim. Very frustrated and angry customer.
Northern Rx Construction riped up my old kitchen flooring and installed new kitchen flooring. Tyler was fabulous, on time, neat, personable, and knowledgeable about what he was doing. I would definitely hire him again!
Picture this. ...a flooded house, with endless tussle with the insurance company and a gloomy moldy smell , until I met Julio. From hard wood floor installation, plumbing in the bathroom, installing a storm door, refinishing partial basement from water damage to helping with other handy jobs that were not even part of the agreement, because he is s perfectionist. The best part of it all was his professionalism. He treated my home with respect and I am happy to come home again.
If you are looking for help decorating your house look no further. Stacy is your gal. I refer to her to my friends as the Joanna Gains of MSP for rustic chic (although she can do any aesthetic you are dreaming of)! I hired her to help me furnish and decorate my new construction home. She was always very attentive and had a wonderful game plan to help me tackle such a huge task. She came over and measured my home and took pictures. She then gave me a 3D rendering of my home decorated! It was STUNNING. We then went on several shopping trips to buy the large pieces together. Later on we went on trips to find the perfect accessories at places an interior designer would only know about! Stacy was a great listener and was flexible if any pieces didnt speak to me. She was happy to point out other options that would look just as nice. Finally, Stacy got some amazing designer discounts at the large box stores. On the shopping front Stacy is happy to do as little or as much as you need! She can go with you or tell you what to find, whatever your preference. She is also a master stager and thriftstore expert too! Stacy not only does typical furniture placement, shopping, and decorating...she is also an architect who can make a ton of the creative projects she proposes in your home for you. You don't have to hire yet another person. Wonder woman I tell you!!! Stacy made us a custom mud room bench built in HERSELF. She used reclaimed wood from all over the state and from barns! She also made us a custom chalkboard wall. Stacy's daughter took the pictures for our collage wall that will line our steps, they are the things of dreams! Stacy also picked out a wonderful reclaimed wood wall paper for above the fireplace that is unlike anything I have ever seen. To sum up it Stacy is a joy to work with, she is a friend at this point. She can literally do it all. She is flexible on all counts and can help you as little or as much as you like at a very fair price point. If you haven't already, just hire stay. You won't regret it. -Tory
Aitken's Elegant Granite installed quartz on our master bath countertop. Their prices were great and this husband/wife team were very personable; however, I did have to have them come back to smooth out a mark on the quartz.
Im so pleased to find Kel Heyl on Thumbtack as now he will be available to even more homeowners. Kel has done work on and in my home since 2004, from very large projects to small tasks. I love that he is such a careful, creative and meticulous craftsman his work is never slapdash. Ive always been very happy with the results, and can recommend him highly to anyone interested in having work done on their home by somebody who knows what hes doing, and will do it well. Built screened porch, based on his own design. (2004) Removed a chain-link fence and posts. (October 2004) Removed textured ceilings in living room and dining room. Ripped and installed new molding for both rooms. Installed a chandelier. (April 2010) Installed a new entry door to porch, including altering and adapting the jamb. (June 2009) Hung antique coat rack. (2008) Installed a new pre-hung access door for garage. (June 2009) Re-screened porch panels damaged by cat and raccoons. (July 2011) Hung a magnetic knife rack. Preston has shown to possess a keen eye for style and detail in the bathroom remodel I hired him for. Everything he did shows a high level of skill and was executed on time. Everyone who has seen my new bathroom is very impressed and I would--will, hire him again for future projects in a heartbeat. A+
I recently finished a kitchen remodel with Kohners and am very pleased. Everything was well communicated and everyone was easy to work with. There were a couple of snags, but knew that might happen when you start tearing things apart. We discussed options and went with altenative choices. The only delay was caused by my special order cabinets. Workers returned within a few days and finished the installation. I know it wasn't the cheapest bid, but Kohner was the only one that called back and followed through as promised. Will use again in the future.
Anton Remodeling came out the same day for a bid. He provided everything I could do and scaled it back to what I wanted for now within my budget. The job was basically fixing what another person's terrible job. Anton was creative and made everything look nice. Since I've had terrible experiences hiring contractors, I'm happy to say I found Anton Remodeling and looking forward to hiring again for future projects. The neighbors already said the would hire after seeing the before and after. Thank you again for your hard work and quick turnaround.
Jose did an excellent job on my house. I hired him to do interior painting, drywall a bathroom paint and the ceilings. He also painted my ceilings and did knock down on my kitchen ceiling. I hired him and his crew to paint the exterior of my house and trim.
Highly recommend Ryan for any home improvement project! A+ for communication and responsiveness. Most importantly my wife is super satisfied with how our 'minor' bathroom remodel turned out. Overall Ryan and his team did a stellar job!
We had our first sit down with Executive Exteriors & Remodeling in October of 2015. After meeting the owner Mike and our project manager Gary, and reviewing the design plans, we knew this was the team we wanted to move forward with for our full basement remodel. They were very open and honest regarding the process and utilization of our space. We had a partially finished basement that was very outdated with pine wood walls and doily wall paper! Executive created just the functionality we were needing out of the space in our basement. It turned into a master suite, walk in closet, large full bath, and super cozy family room from a partially finished party room/bar, unfinished storage, and unfinished laundry room. We began the project in January after the holidays and wrapped up March. The team was easy to reach and had a schedule so we knew when to expect certain milestones in our project. The team members Gary and Mike work with are knowledgeable and respectful of us and our home. We cannot believe the results. Thank you Executive Exteriors & Remodeling for adding this beautiful space to our home! Not only do we love the space, it added a great amount of equity to our home.
They did great work on the remodel of my new kitchen. I ended up hiring them again on my son's bedroom remodel. I would recommend to any of my friends. Friendly and fair priced.
