About this pro
I have a method to teach how to understand the entire neck of the guitar or bass from the very first lesson. This is different from traditional methods that most teachers follow. In doing so, students are setup to be able to learn on their own long after they stop taking lessons. I teach with the view, "I wish I had learned what I teach when I first started playing. Had I learned the instrument this way my abilities and progress would've grown much faster." Since I've been teaching. My students consistently comment on how much they learn and how they've noticed their abilities improve. I love to teach and help students realize success on their instrument.

- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Know that no matter where you're at on your instrument? If you're willing to truly practice and realize that learning is a journey and it takes time... Then you'll be able to grow. The more you put in, the greater the reward...
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project? The majority of Guitar Teachers seem to have a limited understanding of the instrument. I say this because in the time I've been teaching I've had many students come from other teachers. A running comment I've heard is, "You have such a great way to help me understand. My former teacher never really ever had a plan to help me become better." Saying that... I don't know everything there is. But I have taught long enough to know the difference between a good teacher and a great one... The great ones listen and adapt to each student. That is part of the passion of teaching... Really listening in order to help another succeed.
