Introduction: I'm a portrait photographer based in the south metro area of the Twin Cities. I specialize in fine art portraits, newborn, babies, maternity, mommy & me, dancers, seniors & pets. I am an inclusive photographer. I love working outdoors, but also have a small studio in Burnsville, Minnesota where much of my creating happens. I am laid back, patient, and I LOVE what I do. I thrive on making my clients feel comfortable and excited for their photo experience.

Thumbtack Customer

We used Jordanalisa Photography for a photo shoot with our children and pets and could not have been happier with the creativity, the style, and the overall experience. Jordana has a way of making even the most timid of pets (and kids) feel comfortable and beautiful. Highly recommend!

Thumbtack Customer

We have used Jordanalisa Photography to capture our pets, children and other fun subjects. Jordana is extremely creative and flexible, and she is very good with editing as well. I attached some photos she did for us. Highly recommended!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

While I am mainly a digital format photographer, I do also offer prints. That said, I don't have a huge markup on them as I believe that you are paying me for my work.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I am happy to take the time to have a phone consult and answer any questions potential clients may have, as well as in-person consults to discuss sessions, and for expecting moms to try on my client closet gowns in advance of their sessions if they wish to. I want every client to feel comfortable and excited walking in to their session, so I will take any steps necessary to make sure that happens!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taken several newborn safety training courses, both online and in person. I will NEVER force a newborn into a pose that they aren't comfortable with, or I don't think is safe for their body. I invest in at least one master class or in person workshop every year because I always want to be up on the newest trends, and also to add new skills and techniques to my current workflow.
