I am working with a delightful young man, Mike Salow, who works for Nic Payne. Mike has infinite patience, a good sense of humor and is quite knowledgeable about the guitar. I appreciate his willingness to veer from what is his experience of teaching beginners and accommodate some of my needs, even if I don't know what I'm talking about. Paula Solon
I am a woman in my 40s with very little formal vocal training. I sing very part time in a cover band (mostly 80s & 90s rock). I have had weekly half-hour singing lessons with Arlys for the past year. In just the first few months, I experienced a dramatic transformation in my voice and confidence. I have learned how to warm-up my voice, stand and breathe correctly, form vowel sounds to enhance pitch and tone, transition more easily through chest and head voice, and added at least 4 notes to the upper end of my performance range. Over time, my skills increased to the point where our lessons focus on "tweaks" to the songs I will be performing. Arlys strengths are her knowledge of how anatomy affects the voice, her ability to explain techniques in a variety of ways (so that at least one of them clicks for me), a prodigious sense of humor, flexibility, and a passion for both teaching and her own continuous learning. Arlys is delightful, and I wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone who wishes to sing better, especially shy singers, young people, and those who need to know why or how something works.
She was wonderful to work with! She put me completely at ease. I was taking a few lessons to learn a song to sing to my husband for his 60th birthday and her suggestions gave me the confidence I needed to pull this off. I would highly recommend her!
Lessons was perfect for a beginner guitar player. Matt is awesome!
So patient and professional. Very easy to feel comfortable during lessons, even for a beginner like myself. I would HIGHLY recommend lessons with Priscilla.
Alexandra is very talented and patient. In just three weeks she has helped me find my voice and to sing octaves that I never thought I could. A great experience.
My 12 & 15 year old sons took beginner guitar lessons with Rachel. I was impressed with what they learned and the price could not have been better. They were motivated and looked forward to their lessons. I liked how she set up the schedule in the beginning of the summer and provided options for any of our normal days that wouldn't work. I wish I had also signed another of my kids up for piano. I chose Rachel because the price was right and I wanted to gauge their interest levels. We will return to Rachel because the price is good AND she's a good music instructor who kept the kids motivated.
Andy is a superb teacher. He has a thorough grounding in vocal technique, an extensive knowledge of repertoire, and a positive and engaging personality--what more could you want? (He also teaches in a house with two amazing cats--a big bonus!) In addition, he has a huge range of experience as a teacher, from working with beginners to advanced singers. I recommend him very highly.
My daughter has taken vocal lessons from TC Vocal Arts for 2 years. Within a month of starting lessons, she had noticeable vocal growth. Over time she has expanded her range almost a full octave, as well as improving intonation and sight reading. Angela has been very supportive, including attending some of my daughter's other vocal performances and has been easy to work with for scheduling.
I have taken voice lessons from Rick for the past year. I am a mature (old) individual and have always loved singing, have sung in a choir for the past 10 years but never took voice. The entire experience has been thrilling. Rich has improved my range, taught techniques for breathing and breath control which are unique and made lessons fun. He has me singing music I thought I would hate and never sing and love it. Rick has introducted me to music theory and composition and is extremely knowledgable. He has been flexible with his schedule and with the music we work on. Rick is very sensitive to what the needs and objectives of the student are and adjusts lessons to meet the goals. We have taken a break for the but will resume lessons in the fall. Rick is an outstanding teacher.
I take weekly voice lessons from Cassandra, and she is absolutely amazing. She is knowledgable about the body, voice, singing, and performing, and explains things in a way that is clear, concise, and effective. She picks out appropriate pieces for me to work on but is always looking for my input on selections. I have been taking lessons with for less than a year but already feel that I have grown tremendously as a singer, both technically and stylistically. I have never had any problems/concerns with lessons, logistically or otherwise. Cassandra is always on time and prepared for lessons, and brings with her much enthusiasm and energy. She goes above and beyond as a teacher and a mentor, and I am thrilled to be working with her!
Eric is a patient and understanding teacher who takes the time to thoroughly and knowledgeably address your singing concerns and works with you to tailor your lesson to address your singing needs. My voice has shown noticeable improvement since I started taking lessons with Eric, and I would recommend him to both beginning and advanced singers. Learning to sing is fun! :)
Joseph has helped me to find my true voice. I know that sounds trite, but before I started taking lessons with him, I did not have the ability to access my voice in a healthy and pure way. He was able to tap into what I needed as a vocalist, giving me exercises that resonated with me, and inspiring me to give myself permission to simply use my voice. Having Joseph as my teacher for the past several years has given me the confidence to trust in my singing ability. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to understand and utilize the full potential of their voice.
Working with Samantha has been a wonderful experience. As a performer from the Twin Cites, I was looking for a vocal coach who is was proficient in Musical Theatre, who could provide guidance in my quest to future my career. although, I have only been working with Samantha for a few months, I feel I have come so far in my vocal performance. She had helped me clean up bad habits and strengthen prior techniques from several years of voice lessons, show choir and other musical theatre training. She has helped prepare we with skills and insight to succeed with auditioning, growing as an artist, and most importantly maintaining a healthy voice. Her knowledge is invaluable. As a fellow dancer she knows where my training is and provides unique techniques that blend smoothly with my other training, to help develop a well rounded performance package. I am so thankful that I found her studio on Thumbtack, she has been an absolute joy to work with. - Brittany Marie Wilson
Never considered myself an actual vocalist until my lessons w/Siren. She's an amazing coach, bringing out the best in her students.
Grandma loves Miss Mariana. Grandpa loves Miss Mariana. Why? Because our grandchildren smile when they see her, laugh when they are playing together, grow as they exercise, and learn as they sing. She has been their introduction to three languages and a world of knowledge and fun. We are all lucky to have her in our lives.
Tara is fantastic! My 10-year-old daughter really loves working with her as she is very approachable and friendly. I can hear Tara singing when they have their lesson in our office, and she has a wonderful voice, too! I recommend her 100%!
I have know Jon for many years and he's a great friend. Now I have to be professional and give my opinion: I honestly didn't know what to expect when I came to his recital in December. I showed up and immediately was impressed by the range of students he had. After the recital, he convinced me to take him up on a free lesson then he got me hooked on. His has so much knowledge from his years in college, learning from other voice teachers, musical theater, etc. and he knows how to keep your voice in a comfortable range and then get you to the next level that you never thought you could reach. I was a baritone for awhile and now I'm getting close to second tenor because of the lessons and advice he has given me. He is very professional and will always be there to help you and never make you feel put down. As long as you give it your all, you've already earned his respect. I'm a proud student of Millennial Studio and I recommend anyone who loves to sing or learn more about music to go to this studio and learn from one of the best in Central Wisconsin
I was Annelies' supervising teacher when she was training to teach voice lessons. Annelies was a very organized, knowledgeable, creative, prepared and sensitive teacher. I heartily endorse her!

I am here to give singing lessons to people. I love singing, and I have been performing my whole life and want to do singing as a career.
Christina Adamoli is an active musician in the Twin Cities, with interests ranging from Bluegrass to Opera Theatre. Christina has taught music in group settings since 2013, where she led an introduction to music workshop for adults with developmental disabilities through To The Rescue in Parker, Colorado. As part of a summer workshop program in 2015, she directed opera scenes, coached singers, and led musical rehearsals for students of Greenwood Music Studio. Christina has studied German Lieder and Scandinavian Art Song extensively, and is currently preparing a lecture-recital for the spring of 2018 on the life and music of the female Norwegian composer, Agathe Backer-Grøndahl. Christina works with students to find vocal freedom and a balanced production. In her personal experience, the most effective teaching guides have been adaptable to their student’s learning needs. Lessons are tailored to the individual’s vocal development and focus on ear-training, theory, basic piano skills, breath, alignment, diction, expression, and more. A solid foundation in classical technique will allow the student to traverse any genre of musical expression.
