FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Consultations start at about $200 for a two hour session in which we discuss your needs, the training plan, and what issues you want to address. One on one private lessons are about $130. However, I offer programs that combine private lessons and day training sessions, which are less expensive than buying either alone. I travel to clients, so not only are you getting a private lesson, but you don't have to leave your home to do it! These programs are designed to get you results in less time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I initially do a phone call, then schedule a consultation. From there, I write a report that has a plan for the training we will do, prognosis statement, and some resources included. Then the client selects the program that best suits their wants, and I work with them and their dog to complete the program.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have extensive experience in the petcare industry. I have worked in the boarding industry, done in-home pet sitting and dog walking, and have been training for 5 years. I hold specific accreditations that ensure I am up to date on best practices for training. I am a CPTD-KA, an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, and used to be a Petsmart Accredited Trainer. I am about half way through earning my CBATI-KA and my CBCC-KA.
