I hired Brian to build a custom cabinet for my bathroom. His pricing was competitive but I ultimately chose him because he was closest in proximity to me. I sent him all my specs and a drawing and when he came out to discuss the details and see the space before beginning, I had a great first impression of him. He got started immediately, sent me photos every step of the way and kept in close communication with me to confirm each step was what I envisioned. He works quickly and puts out a great product. I love this cabinet and every single element came to life just as I imagined it. This is the first thing I have ever had made for myself and I absolutely love it; my favorite part of my bathroom! We have other projects we will use Brian for and I have already recommended him to a few others. WHAT A FIND! Thank you Brian, you are awesome!!!
I had a great experience working with Elliott. He is very personable, and thorough in his work. He custom fit a new wall oven in my kitchen, and it looks great. He also ran all new electric to the oven that was previously gas. I would use Elliott again for other work in my home.
We had a railing and some cabinets done by the Apex crew. It was a great experience, from start to finish. The work was done quickly and the quality and attention to detail was outstanding. We are already planning our next projects with Apex.
We worked with Brian and he was excellent to work with. They gave us an estimate, drawings and they were quick to make adjustments. They came out again for final measurements. We always knew where they were with the project and when we added mesh cabinet door requirements, they were spot on with options for us and it was just what we wanted. Jason did exceptional work in building the cabinets.
Siding was replaced due to woodpecker damage in one area, and due to general deterioration in a couple of other areas; and the new siding was painted. In addition to the quality of the work performed, the communication with this organization, and with the handyman performing the work, was excellent. The job was started and completed according to the schedule to which they committed. I highly recommend these folks!
STC built a custom wall unit (cabinets and open shelves) out of Knotty pine for us. I decided to do the install myself, and Chris was very helpful in walking me through how to do it. We had one minor rework on the upper row of cabinets, and Chris took care of it immediately - resized the unit to fit in our space and had it back to me the same day. The finish is perfect, and the install went exactly as he described it should. It looks AWESOME! We are already cooking up ideas for our next project, will definitely use Stop the Clock again!
Mr. Coffer is an excellent carpenter. He built stairs and framed up our deck. He also builds very nice furniture, and cabinets. All of his work was quality and he is very professional. Great man who does great work. Larry Likes
Pete Marroquin did a kitchen tear down and built new cabinets and an island for us. He tore down 3 walls and removed all the old cabinets, designed the new cabinets taking in consideration of how we used the space and what our vision was. The work was beautiful and better then we expected. He is flexible, listened to our ideas and shared some great ideas with us to help make our kitchen uniquely what we were looking for. Pete also recommended other contractors that we needed and worked very well with all of them. I would highly recommend Pete and hope to use him on another project. I would highly recommend Pete Marroquin. Donna Kazanowski Bloomington, MN home owner
We had Bruce install crown molding on some cabinets I installed in the basement. I just couldn't get the angles right to fit. Bruce showed up as expected and was very particular about his work and getting it done right. We supplied the molding as it was ordered with the cabinets. He did a good job and left the area cleaned up, including the garage where he was cutting the wood.
I have worked with Joe on two separate remodel projects. Joe pays attention to what you want for your cabinets and works to deliver it. I have found his cabinets to be top quality craftsmanship and a core centerpiece to our home. I love going into my home now.
I met with Jacob and Chad at the Box Blu showroom. They apparently are a kitchen remodeling company too that has it's own in house cabinet company. It was a smaller showroom than expected but we were greeted at the door and offered refreshments. I was nervous about spending thousands of dollars on cabinets but they helped me feel good about the quality. Jacob was very helpful picking out colors for cabinets and countertops that would match my hardwood floors. He also helped draw out a design for my kitchen. I was a bit worried about the cost since their projects looked like they were very upscale and unaffordable, but his price was very affordable compared to 2 other quotes I got. It was considerably less than Home Depot's Thomasville cabinets and a local custom cabinet maker I had come out for a quote. They were almost $5,000 less than Home Depot. Since I was exhausted with finding good pricing for cabinets I hired them and made a small down payment. I then met Paul the project manager and he was very precise with his measurements and design alterations. Overall my experience was great with Box Blu. The only small complaint I have is that the installation took longer than expected. Kurt did a fantastic job installing but it took him a little longer to install the kitchen cabinets than I was expecting. I thought he'd have a crew and be done a little faster. His work was great though and we are having Jacob and Kurt come back out to look at finishing our basement and building a wet bar.
Eric was absolutely wonderful to work with - I will definitely use him again and also tell others about him. He was able to design a coffee table for us that will go perfectly with our beach house/lake house vibe - he really did an amazing job and it's exactly what we wanted!! His pricing was very reasonable as well for the quality craftmanship - the table is as solid as they come ... Most of our store bought furniture is no where near as sturdy!
Kristiaan put together a design plan for our new IKEA kitchen at very reasonable price. During the project, he provided superb customer service, being flexible and timely with our change requests. Also, his expertise on IKEA kitchens gave us a peace of mind and saved us a lot of time at IKEA!
We had to replace a built in oven and the replacement was a different size than the original. The cabinet needed modification so we had Brad look at it and he came up with an excellent solution to the problem. He did the work and it came out perfect. Excellent work
A bathroom remodel that included gutting everything except the vanity. Jim and those he works with were in constant contact and kept on track as promised with timing of the project. Jim will help you coordinate all materials with the best merchants to ensure the best price. He has relationships with all of them which ensures best prices possible for countertops, cabinets, tile (including design) as well as labor. We had no idea how to approach a bathrom remodel and knew we didn't want to act as our own general contractor. Hiring Jim to oversee it, helped us get the remodel done quickly, with good quality materials at a lower price than we would probably have been able to realize on our own. The tile installer was incrediblly meticulous. It looks perfect throughout the room from the shower to the bathroom floor and other walls. They took extreme care to keep the area clean and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We won't hesitate to work with Jim and Cady Handyman in the future for other remodeling. We highly recommend Jim.
