I was incredibly impressed with this plumber. He was able to come out the same day and complete two toilet installs. He was respectful of our home and was very kind to our multiple (and very curious) pets. He completed the work in a timely manner and cleaned up after himself. Quite frankly, his services are a steal! Allen is easy to work with and very knowledgable. In the future, I plan to have some upgrades to my house and he kindly provided some recommendations on contractors and electricians. This spring I will be having a utility tub moved and I plan on contacting Spitfire Plumbing to complete the job.
We were very happy with Bill's work - we had him do the electrical for our kitchen remodel. Bill was flexible, prompt and even volunteered to take our old kitchen cabinets with him so we didn't need to worry about disposing of them!
Scott came and replaced three troubling overhead lights. He was courteous, thorough and professional. I have already pointed out several additional projects for him to help with, I can't wait until I can get those done!!! And, next day handyman indeed!! Thanks, Scott! I look forward to hiring you for the bathroom and kitchen projects!
Greg did excellent work tiling our kitchen backsplash and EPA Irving our hard wood floor. The pricing was very fair. We will be calling him back for more projects
Barry repaired a kitchen window in my home. In spite of it being a seventeen year old window and challenging to get the correct part, he was very professional and did not vary from his first estimate to get the job done. I would reach out to him again and highly recommend Barry to others.
We could not be happier with Don's work on our kitchen backsplash.
Dan installed a chandalier light and a new kitchen faucet. Workmanship is impeccable and plan on using Dan for many other projects.
I haven't had a lot of experience with contractors but this company was very professional from beginning to end. I had my bathroom remodeled and updated. They arrived to my home within the time frame that was given. They called to let me know when they were on their way. They cleaned up behind themselves and walked through with me and explained everything they did and options if I wished to change anything in the near future. I was so pleased with their work, I'm also getting a barn door installed and I'll be doing another review on how that installation goes as well. Overall, I am very pleased with their service and quality of work.
I had my interior trim and doors installed and painted. I had started the process a couple years ago, but was having difficulty finishing the project with 3 young boys and all there activities. I hired Adventure 25 to come out and give a bid and they could start the project in about a week. The first part of the process was to finish the trim work and rip all the basement trim out and a couple of doors that had not been replaced yet. The trim work was done in a couple of days. The painting was delayed because of rainy weather. This is where the stress begins. The prep work that comes before painting can be a lot of work and time consuming. There was little to no prep of the trim. Lots of missed nail holes, lots of missed caulking and the stuff that was done was very poor. I was told that this is high quality paint and it will cover in one coat. I know better. It can take several coats to make the white trim look good. There was paint all over the wood floors, tile in kitchen, paint on the cabinets, paint on my trees outside, paint on the concrete driveway, paint on my fire pit. There seemed to be no care in the world. Jaimie kept telling me that we are not painters. I understand that but my 5 year could of done better. It was supposed to be rolled and instead there was pain brush marks all the trim. The one painter said he thought it would look cute to but swirls with his brush on the top of all the door trims. I met with Jaimie 4 different times to which he said how do I make this right? I would go through things with him and come home at the end of the day to find more of a mess and continued poor quality work. I have never seen anything like this. He would say it would be fixed but I don't think he would watch over his workers and forget to tell them things. I am stressed out beyond believe as my hope was to have this finished to spend more time with my kids. Instead I have to redo most of it. I had another contractor come out and told me it would be about 10 thousand to fix. He never had seen such poor quality work. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. Very nice person but I think he was over his head and always in a rush, hence the poor quality work. Since I cant pay 10 thousand to someone to fix it, I am now looking at a year or so to fix my trim. Very frustrated and angry customer.
Worked with Julio to install backsplash in my kitchen. Did a great job recommending type of style and installing it in a very timely manner. Plan on using his company for future projects.
Chris completed a 'mini' kitchen remodel for me. He refaced existing cabinets with new doors, drawers, and darker stain. He also coordinated the Cambria, backsplash, new sink and microwave installation. The project management was superior. Chris did an excellent job of keeping me in the loop on when he would be at the house and finished the job on time (even with an add on near the end of the project). We love our beautiful kitchen and look forward to working with Chris again!
I started working with Deb after attempting a kitchen remodel without a designer and realizing I needed help. In our first visit, she saved my $50,000 kitchen remodel by changing the paint color! Small things can make a major difference and Deb has a natural eye for those things. I do not have a huge budget which is why I did not hire a designer before. I falsely thought that designer = big bucks. It does not. I think I'm actually saving money because I no longer buy things because they're pretty and on sale. I'm more intentional about the "look" I'm going for. I highly recommend two things ... 1) get a designer and 2) schedule an appointment with Deb and just hear what she has to say
Aitken's did a great job with our kitchen countertops. They provided nice options and we love the finished product. They were super easy to work with and super flexible. Thanks!
First Thumbtack project, ever; so I was not sure what to expect. Was a little skeptical of GSD Handyman after reading their last review. But, his price and previous project photos were too compelling to not take the risk. Plus, I am hiring a “handyman” not a “babysitter”. Best decision I have ever made! GSD Handyman does amazing work, hands down the best contractor I have ever used. The quality and craftsmanship of his work was truly amazing. He treated me like a person, instead of a job. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. Upon completion of this project, I asked him about a few other projects. Like a kid in candy store, cannot wait until he completes those projects. I would recommend him to anybody for any project. Gerry is an extremely skilled carpenter. He should be the next person you hire!
Preston put a backsplash in our kitchen. He was efficient, professional, and did beautiful work. I'd definitely recommend him and would hire him again in a second.
Ryan is one of the exceptional contractors that is proactive and keeps to his schedule and definitely communicates to keep the customer in the loop
My 1980's dark cabinet kitchen needed a new make over. Chris Rowe did it. He worked with a cabinet my husband made, a cabinet we got at a Thrift store and he added another cabinet. He took off all my old doors and sprayed the inside of the cabinets white. He then painted white the new doors and added crown molding and hardware. The kitchen looks brand new and even bigger. No one can believe its the same kitchen. I even have soft closing doors and drawers ! Chris is easy to work with and his crew is great……I love his work Thank you Chris Nancy Sibley
True Professionals, they worked with me every step of the way on my basement finishing project. I had some bad past experiences with other contractors so it was refreshing to work with these guys. Everything looks excellent. Exceeded all my expectations.
Pete Marroquin did a kitchen tear down and built new cabinets and an island for us. He tore down 3 walls and removed all the old cabinets, designed the new cabinets taking in consideration of how we used the space and what our vision was. The work was beautiful and better then we expected. He is flexible, listened to our ideas and shared some great ideas with us to help make our kitchen uniquely what we were looking for. Pete also recommended other contractors that we needed and worked very well with all of them. I would highly recommend Pete and hope to use him on another project. I would highly recommend Pete Marroquin. Donna Kazanowski Bloomington, MN home owner
David installed all of our new kitchen cabinets plus a hall way cabinet. He was neat, skillful, on time, polite and extremely professional. I would have him back in a minute for additional work in his area when I need it. He is perhaps one of the most professional people I have met in a long time.
A small custom shop that has a wide variety of the highest quality products and materials for about half the cost of the big shops. If you like the feeling of dealing directly with the company owner to design your perfect kitchen - I would recommend Euro-Cabs.
