I would happily recommend Northern Exteriors to do a job on my house again. More than their ability to get the job done, is their honestly and integrity. All the workers were capable and responsive to my questions and concerns. Jason was on the scene overseeing things. My home looks brand new! I am very satisfied with the outcome of the job and give Northern Exteriors two thumbs up!Jun 26, 2017Verified
Northern Exteriors did an excellent job. They were prompt, fast and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.Jun 6, 2017Verified
Jason was great! My roofing job was the kind most contractors run away from. (115+ year old house, 2 story, steeper than 12/12, four layers of roofing-3 asphalt,1 cedar, etc.) Jason took care of everything (including working with the Insurance adjuster to get coverage on some things they missed.) They left the work-site in immaculate condition. I'd recommend Northern Exteriors to friends and family and I'd use them again in a heartbeat!Jun 22, 2017Verified

Jason and his team were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole roofing experience. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction. He made me feel like my project was his number one priority. And best of all, the final total came in under budget!May 6, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? It is difficult to have a standard price for a roof (for instance) as there are so many details and questions that need answering. Is it steep? What is the pitch? How many layers? What material are we installing? Is it cut up? Are there valleys? Will a ridge vent be installed? But generally speaking, I have never lost a job due to price. With low overhead, we can price match (and go lower than) any licensed contractor out there.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Typically, we will talk on the phone to clearly identify the homeowner's needs, agree on a time to meet (shake hands, measure, look at materials). After that, I send out an emailed estimate. The process is very straight-forward with a no-pressure feel.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Initial training through hands on experience. Kaplan training courses for general contractor licensing. EPA lead certification courses. Continuing educations courses annually. Factory tours of manufacturers. Between our roofing and siding crews we have over 130 years of combined experience.
