I am an interior decorator and I have had the pleasure of working with Joe on two wallpaper/paint projects. He does an amazing job at a very competitive price, and most important - my clients LOVE him!! He is very easy to work with and I am so grateful that I have found him. He is now at the top of my list!
Hung, taped and mudded drywall in basement - A wall in my basement had mold behind the sheetrock and on the wood framing behind it. Aaron replaced parts of the frame that were damaged and replaced the deywall/taped and mudded seems. In addition, he hung (and taped/mudded) a piece of drywall on a ceiling space at the bottom of my basement stairs where it was previously unfinished. I put in a request for this work on thumbtack and Aaron responded within a few hours. He came out and did a bid right away and started the work the following morning. He was very professional, on time, and extremly pleasant to work with. He was also very good about checking in with me and making sure I was happy with his work. He did a great job for a good price and I would definitely recommmend him.
Needed whole kitchen redone. Drywall, tape, and mud. Excellent job would recommend to anyone.
We had a mess going trying to do our remodeling ourselves and it was overwhelming to say the least! We called Don and he came out and gave us fair, honest estimates for our wood flooring install, taping and painting the sheetrock we put up, removal of old wallpaper and paintin, ceramic tile installation and refurbishing our deck. Every job completed, professionally and beautifully, my husband and I are very happy with Dons work and we've recommended him to our friends and neighbors.
I had my interior trim and doors installed and painted. I had started the process a couple years ago, but was having difficulty finishing the project with 3 young boys and all there activities. I hired Adventure 25 to come out and give a bid and they could start the project in about a week. The first part of the process was to finish the trim work and rip all the basement trim out and a couple of doors that had not been replaced yet. The trim work was done in a couple of days. The painting was delayed because of rainy weather. This is where the stress begins. The prep work that comes before painting can be a lot of work and time consuming. There was little to no prep of the trim. Lots of missed nail holes, lots of missed caulking and the stuff that was done was very poor. I was told that this is high quality paint and it will cover in one coat. I know better. It can take several coats to make the white trim look good. There was paint all over the wood floors, tile in kitchen, paint on the cabinets, paint on my trees outside, paint on the concrete driveway, paint on my fire pit. There seemed to be no care in the world. Jaimie kept telling me that we are not painters. I understand that but my 5 year could of done better. It was supposed to be rolled and instead there was pain brush marks all the trim. The one painter said he thought it would look cute to but swirls with his brush on the top of all the door trims. I met with Jaimie 4 different times to which he said how do I make this right? I would go through things with him and come home at the end of the day to find more of a mess and continued poor quality work. I have never seen anything like this. He would say it would be fixed but I don't think he would watch over his workers and forget to tell them things. I am stressed out beyond believe as my hope was to have this finished to spend more time with my kids. Instead I have to redo most of it. I had another contractor come out and told me it would be about 10 thousand to fix. He never had seen such poor quality work. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. Very nice person but I think he was over his head and always in a rush, hence the poor quality work. Since I cant pay 10 thousand to someone to fix it, I am now looking at a year or so to fix my trim. Very frustrated and angry customer.
My faith in contractors doing their job efficiently, on time, in budget has been restored. Bravo Northern Rx. The deck is fabulous. A great addition to our home. They got the job done very quickly considering it was a big wrap around deck. Quality work at an affordable price. Would highly recommend Northern Rx to anyone looking for a job well done.
This guy knows what he is doing. An old fashioned fella originally from the Wilmar area with a strong work ethic, and fun to listen too. Very pleasant. I looked up contractors on Thumbtack, got a response that evening and setup the job the next day after talking on the phone and he was out the following day. The timing just worked out. Richard applied knockdown on three ceilings, one that had been primed and painted already so he knew how to handle that. He gave me advice to use Kilz Oil based primer on the ceilings that were not primed before hand. Great advice from someone who also paints.
Julio was great to work with. I was in need of a subcontractor for a big drywall job and he was there to size up the job the next day and got it started immediately. The job was completed way before I thought it would be and the work quality was great. Very enjoyable guy to work with.
First Thumbtack project, ever; so I was not sure what to expect. Was a little skeptical of GSD Handyman after reading their last review. But, his price and previous project photos were too compelling to not take the risk. Plus, I am hiring a “handyman” not a “babysitter”. Best decision I have ever made! GSD Handyman does amazing work, hands down the best contractor I have ever used. The quality and craftsmanship of his work was truly amazing. He treated me like a person, instead of a job. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. Upon completion of this project, I asked him about a few other projects. Like a kid in candy store, cannot wait until he completes those projects. I would recommend him to anybody for any project. Gerry is an extremely skilled carpenter. He should be the next person you hire!
Hands down, one of the best experiences of working with a professional contractor! The service provided was off the charts! Would totally recommend Certapros to do your job! I will definitely be a return customer for our next home project! Angie & Jay Maple Grove, MN
I originally had them finish my garage to insult it, sheetrock, install a storage above and install the heater. They did an outstanding job and I have since asked them to install new carpet in my basement and am working with their cleaning company to get my house professionally cleaned to sell. I highly would recommend Hiltner for anything home repairs, renovations etc. Top notch contractor!
I bought my first home and know very little about Handyman work - when I reached out to Ruben he responded right away to set up a time. Even with a busy schedule he made sure he got all of my projects done well and in a timely manner. I would definitely use him for future projects!
Harald was prompt, courteous and went above and beyond for my painting project. We need more contractors like Harald in this world. He cared about my project as if it was his own home!
Dan did a great job repairing Sheetrock and painting on a property I bought with significant water damage. He was quick and fair priced.
True Professionals, they worked with me every step of the way on my basement finishing project. I had some bad past experiences with other contractors so it was refreshing to work with these guys. Everything looks excellent. Exceeded all my expectations.
Tim Kohner was great. He was hired to fix the mistakes caused by a subcontractor who said they were qualified to do trim work. Tim did an exceptional job and helped us stay on schedule with our remodeling project. We learned an expensive lesson on this job but now we know a qualified professional. Thanks Tim.
The exterior paint job was fine and done in on time. The bid for the job was much better than another contractor offered, so we were please. However, the initial 2 hour sales pitch to discuss the job, was a waste of our time. Measuring the house and counting the windows can be done without the homeowners participation.
We hired SBH for a roofing job on a 100+ year old home. Field contractor Ryan was communicative and thorough with all the steps needed. Work was done on schedule with a great crew. Looking forward to our next project with Ryan, Mike, and their crew -- next up is windows!
We had a ugly unfinished basement with a furnace in the middle of the room. After speaking with multiple contractors we selected Dpenn construction. David was able to creat a floor plan to get that out of the way, now we have a beautiful basement (bedroom, washroom, and bathroom with a walk-in shower). David was easy to work with, honest with pricing and scope of work, and we feel like we got a great value out of the work that was done. Would highly recommend.
Northern Walls Painting was able to give an quote very quickly, and started the job within only a few days at a very reasonable price. They almost could finished the job at estimated time frame, but got some delay due to bad weather, which is totally OK to me, considering another contractor I quoted asked me to wait for 4 weeks before he can start to work. The outside of house looks great again after the job and I'm 100% satisfied.
I stride to to make my work stand out and I have a lot of passion with the kind of work I provide
