We hosted a wedding reception for 100 people outside and inside. The food was excellent, the staff was on time to set up and happily on fire. EVERYONE wanted to know who these guys were. Several of our friends are going to hire on this company for their own event. Flawless. 10+!
Great Experience! We had issues with our first caterer up until the week of the wedding. We fired the other caterer only days before the event, after contacting Luzette. We finally got the customer service and attention we deserved. They were excellent. Extremely responsive, professional, accomodating, executed perfectly, food was great. The chef and servers made our guests feel like royalty! They really came through for us and would recommend them!!
Lula-Ru Weddings made our reception a dream come true, it was truly exactly how we pictured and wanted it, it was beyond beautiful. Shellee (our event coordinator) was very personal and made sure she knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding day, she is beyond talented. She had our decor personalized to what we wanted down to the last detail. From our white and black theme with flowers everywhere and white vases, to a blue mason jar with pink flowers put on the altar, to a simple elegance with lace linens and candlelight. Our day went seamlessly with the help of Lula-Ru Weddings.
Jaime took all the anxiety and worry out of the planning and execution of the wedding reception party for our daughter. Conditions weren't ideal and she problem solved with style and grace. Thank you, Jaime!
Ania and her team were simply amazing. They took what was a tight window for a room flip and made it happen effortlessly. Throughout the night, we continually received positive feedback about Ania and her crew from our DJ, caterer, etc. She and her team are definitely the glue that makes a great wedding come together.
My daughter was married at St. Olaf Collage Church and had the venue there as well. Kat was amazing!! She had complete control of everything from beginning to end! As the mother of the bride, I was amazed how smoothly the entire rehearsal and wedding went. Kat was the go to person for everything. She kept things going. The pastor was very late for the rehearsal. Kat took over and didn't waste any time getting everyone started. She stepped in and took care of anything that needed to be done. I would hire her again in a heartbeat and will recommend her to anyone getting married. Her advise up front was invaluable. She saved my daughter so much money with many recommendations and advise. She also did our makeup. She is a professional in all aspects of events. Many wedding attendees asked me who she was and where we found her. They were very impressed with her. My brother-in-law is a pastor and said he wished that all the weddings he sponsored had Kat working at them. He said she really knows what she is doing and what a difference she makes. After asking all of my married friends what was the one thing they wished they would have done differently regarding their wedding, many of them said "I wish I would have hired a day of wedding coordinator". GREAT experience with Bowe's!! We had our wedding reception at Bowe's with Denise and her staff catering for around 230 people. Everything was fantastic!!!! The food was great! Everything was ready and dinner/reception flowed very very smoothly...would happily have them cater for us again!

We booked the Dap Squad for our wedding on the St. Croix River. This group was so professional and personable and AMAZINGLY talented! Jason and the Dap Squad just KNEW the vibe we wanted for our wedding and reception and they did NOT disappoint! EVERYONE was on the dance floor the entire reception and having so much fun! Sadly, when it was time for the band to pack up - my guests were asking for "Just one more song?" We would have partied all night! Do yourself a favor - just hire this company and I promise you, it will be the EASIEST, STRESS FREE part of your night! We just absolutely LOVE these guys!!!!!
I wanted my son to have a special 1st Birthday. My budget was small and I mentioned that to Bea. She said she can work with it! I changed my mind about a few things a couple of times and she had to re-do invoices. Never once complained or made me feel like I was bothering her. Very professional. Positive and very nice. At the end of the day, we had a beautiful simple Mickey Mouse themed party. The decorations were very nice. People complemented on how beautiful the party room was. I would definitely recommend her. Jessica and Jenna are true professionals. I booked them as my day-of coordinators for my wedding reception, and from the beginning they were prompt and clear communicators - over email, by phone, and in our in-person site visit. They really know weddings and events inside out and were always thinking two steps ahead. I always felt like they were listening to my vision and asking good clarifying questions in order to execute my event in the best way possible. Something Blue helped us to have a beautiful, worry-free wedding day, and I can't recommend them highly enough. We hired Jennifer and Megan for day-of coordination plus some help with reception decor as needed the week before. They absolutely exceeded expectations and delivered so much more. It was a money-saving relief to have them with us as we met with other venders. The week before the wedding, they took all of the inevitable details off our plate, and directed an efficient and enjoyable rehearsal. Day of the wedding, I didn't worry about a thing, and more importantly, our family and friends didn't have to either. We were blown away by their ability to pull together our ideas with their own to create an experience that was so sentimental and true to us.
Mary did my wedding planning and decoration for me and my now husband. She was easy to talk to and she is a great listener. One thing I liked about her services, was that she was always available for questions or problems solving. If I didn't get her right away, she was great with getting back to me in a short period of time. I am now pregnant, and I have now hired her again to do my baby shower. She was great!
Overall, our wedding reception, and eventually our 1 year anniversary was managed by Aynha. Sumaiya was thoughtful and thorough, and kept us abreast of progress, roadblocks, and most of all available and prepared in case of crisis mode on the event days. Hands down awesome and recommend her services for anything needed looking for something that is customized and tailored to their needs in a reasonable budget.
Jeff and his crew are over the top! My Husband and I had them cater our wedding in late September for 225+ people. Pig and turkey roast, roasted vegetables, roasted red potatoes, vegetarian stuffed peppers, coleslaw, garden salad, rolls and some of the best bbq sauce I've had. From the beginning, to the details of the big day, I know we could not have made a better choice! The team went out of their way to meet with us 2 months before hand at our location just to talk about the setup. On the day of the reception the weather was not ideal for an all outdoor event, but they made the BEST of it. Our guests raved about the food, and I'm still hearing from people 2 months later that the food was excellent. I can't wait to have another party so I can have Jeff and his crew delight our family and friends again.
Heather and Justin were an instrumental part in making my wedding day perfect! I cannot say enough great things about SunKissed Rentals & Events and their services. From start to finish, Heather helped me plan my wedding reception and made it a dream come true. Heather and I had multiple coordination meetings prior to the day of which allowed me to sit back and enjoy my wedding day. They handled everything from placing decorations and place cards on each table, to setting up wedding signs, to handing out tips to the vendors. At the end of the night, Heather and Justin tore down all of the decorations and moved the gifts from the venue into our car. I highly recommend working with SunKissed Rentals & Events if you are planning any type of event - they are incredibly organized, professional and fun!

The gorgeous winter themed ivory rose wedding flowers from Ashley were the best! The bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, church arrangements, and reception table centerpieces were elegant and brought in the feel of winter with sliver touches and glossy blue ribbon. I couldn't be happier. Ashley is very professional and prompt. Highly recommend her!
We hired Ole Piper to cater our wedding reception at the Rosemount Community Center. We made the decision to hire them based on our previous wonderful experiences with the restaurant/ownership. They provided an excellent assortment of food, based on our requests and their great recommendations, that was cooked to perfection and was right on time. Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food. The process of having the it ready and served was seamless and done to perfection. It was clear they had the experience and expertise to handle our special day. We highly recommend using Ole Piper to cater any event.
