DJ Paul Young
About this pro
Our school consists of all students with various disabilities. Paul was awesome working with them, patient and kind with our most impatient ones! Highly recommend for a school function. Thanks again Paul for making our event a successful one!May 9, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I customize every quote, and do not save anything that is part of a standard sound and light show as an "add-on" item after the bid. $695 is a standard "Bridal Fair Special" rate offered by all of the big DJ Companies in town, so I not only surpass their packages in level of DJ experience and equipment included, but beat their price. I may have an off-season, off-night, or other special discount for your event to make my rate even less.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Once a customer books me, the planning process begins. I have a short form and a long form under the "Planning" tab at my website. The information is usually gathered and discussed by emails, but I also meet in person. I always follow the customer's plans for the timeline and music, and during the event, I act as coordinator to keep things moving.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Over 20 years of full time experience as a DJ is the most important training. My degree in French from the University of St. Thomas helps with international events, and I have actually done MC work in Spanish, but there is no education that can replace being out there doing actual events.
