Troubleshooting needed to determine issue
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?$45/hour, plus the cost of any parts/tech needed for repair, if these are determined to be part of the desired solution. Once I assess the issue, we will discuss options for a solution. No work will be done until we have a mutual agreement on an estimated amount of time and dollar amount needed to do the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I take the time to understand your problem or project and the outcomes you're hoping for. I'll get to know how you currently use technology and the equipment you have to better understand how it may have failed, and/or how to make it work best for you. I believe in building long-term relationships rather than burning through quick, one time repairs. I want clients to feel confident in my work and comfortable to call again for future needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am mostly self-taught through years of experience but have CompTIA training in A+, Networking and Security. I also have VMware training is in their vSphere suite of products. I often work in small businesses to troubleshoot system issues and/or rebuild problematic servers. I regularly (!) fix family and friends' home office systems, printers, entertainment studios, laptops, router, modem, and network issues.
