Please don't waste your money and hire Jim right now! We had 3 different inspectors (Jim being the last) on 3 different properties and the first guy was average and the second guy was horrible, my mom would've been a better inspector. I wish we would've found Jim earlier! Jim was awesome, his report was thorough and I loved that we got the report right when he was finished with it on site! He really REALLY knows his stuff and I will be recommending him to all family and friends that are in need of an inspector. His availability works well too as he let us do an afternoon appointment (5pm) so my husband could get off work to come! We ended up buying the house that he inspected and I feel very good about it knowing that he really gave us a full understanding of any problems and how stuff works and where it is located.

Jim was fantastic, not only was he able to accommodate our tight schedule on short notice, he came out despite the huge storm that occurred the previous night causing power outages and downed trees. Extremely thorough, far above our expectations. Spent all the time sitting down with us after to ensure we both understood the report and had our questions answered completely. Gave us great advice. Great integrity. I totally recommend Jim Carlson!

Jim did a fabulous job describing each and every detail of the repairs that the house needed! I learned so much! Because of his accuracy I didn't buy a potentially hazardous & costly home. I will certainly use this company again as I proceed with my house hunting! Sincerely, Michelle
