FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I've always tried to prevent pricing from getting in the way of doing business with my clients. We price all of our estimates using the same formula and have found that to be similar to other contractors like us. That said, all of the parts and pieces of the project are what make the price what it is. I'll do everything in my power to match or beat another contractors estimate if you are struggling with accepting our price for a job. Please present this issue to us if it comes up, we'll always do our best to win your business.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
This really varies depending on the client and the project. To start out I like to discuss your ideas and hear a little about the job. If it's something that I think we can help with, I typically work with you to set up the next steps to get out to the house and gather more info in order to move forward into the design phase or work toward providing an estimate. Whether your planning an interior or exterior renovation we have excellent design resources and have found this planning and design phase to be the most important part of delivering an exceptional experience for our clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Growing up on a farm I've been building and renovating since I was a kid. I learned a lot about renovation by flipping houses in my 20's while working on developing a career in business and have spent the last seven years delivering exceptional renovations to clients in the Minneapolis metro area. I've completed dozens of manufacturer and trade certification programs, studied for NKBA certification, developed my drafting skills on the Chief Architect program and mastery of the Exactimate estimating platform. Jack of all trades, master of a couple?
