Introduction: Many times when we take our computers in we leave it and just pick it up, And never know what the technician did or sometimes even what the route cause was. For me with repairs, I will walk the customer through the issue without making it over technical as well as explain what was done to the computer and if applicable steps to avoid the issue in the future.
In my eyes this is important because it informs you the customer of what occured and gives you ways to prevent similar issues in the future.

Work completed quickly and compently on getting my laptop up and running. Retrieved some necessary files I'd thought were forever lost, and did a great job explaining both what he'd done and giving recommendations for how to avoid like complications in the future. Reasonable and fast turnaround.

Patrick saved my life. A storm came through and the power to the house went out. After that, I tried to turn on my computer and it wouldn't boot. I put out a request for help through Thumbtack and Patrick called. I brought my computer over to him and the next day it was working flawlessly. He's a good guy, knowledgeable (certified Network Engineer) and his calm demeanor soothed my worried soul. Great to know that I can rely on him in the future. Highly recommended.
