- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Varies by the job depending on difficulty, length, specific requirements, technical integration and type of work. Range is $25-$50/hour, and I work efficiently.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I keep up with graphics and web design, but this question doesn't really apply to editing English. I do research some words as needed for proper spelling, grammar, formal vs. casual usage, and pay attention to Flesch-Kincaid Readability.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It's a natural fit for me. I've been a lay-editor my entire life, and as I worked in web-page management, I gradually branched out into a broader range of contract work.
