- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I will be attending classes in the Landscape Design and Construction department at Hennepin Technical College in the fall. Otherwise, my own independent research and experience keep me updated!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After combined experience working in a food co-op and on an organic produce farm, I decided to combine my love for the outdoors, physical fitness, and creativity to start this business.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Regular lawn maintenance for most of our clients includes weekly or biweekly mowing, trimming, and general clean-up. Fall clean-up consists of leaf removal and pruning back of certain plants for health in the following spring and summer. Landscape design jobs combine a mixture of hardscaping (simple to elaborate brick work) and softscaping with a variety of perennials.
