Tim and his team at FreshinUp Minnesota were fantastic to work with. They knew what they were doing, worked within budget, and the result was fantastic -- a revised website better than I expected or planned! I would heartily and highly recommend Tim and FreshinUp to anyone looking to create a new website or just update an existing website. Tim and his team went out of their way to work with us and to understand exactly what we wanted. I cannot express how happy I am with the end result, or with working with Tim and his team. Tim & Michelle with FreshinUp have been wonderful to work with! They are very knowledgeable and responsive. They were able to get our small business up and running in no time, as we had no prior experience in building a website. We came to them with nothing at the start of this project, and they helped to guide us in the right direction, and design our website exactly as we had envisioned. FreshinUp guaranteed the price based on a detailed RFP. Features were added that were not requested, and then without communication, they were charged. Moved the project at the point that the original price had more than doubled and the end was not in sight.

This review is unfortunate and untrue. The client controlled the project from start to finish, continually expanding the deliverables each week, learning, redesigning and reinventing. We communicated several times the budget was increasing and she approved. When it came time to launch, she tried to reduce the price. We settled for much less and she received a beautiful website which is now in use and runs the entire business process. We try very hard to please clients and we did the best we could here as well. Unfortunately, this project was not a simple build and beyond the clients means.

Working with FreshinUp was the best choice I could have made for creating a website I had been dreaming of for months. I was given a project coordinator who communicated with me at every step. There were detailed emails and calls to keep me in the loop throughout the entire process. They were flexible with my ability to make payments and so hands-on once we launched. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have different hourly rates for clients to pick from: $45/hr for Student/Intern work (template websites, seo, etc) $70/hr for Associate work (design, programming, etc.) $80/hr for Advanced work (custom programming/design) $100/hr for Executive work (strategy related services)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually have a phone call or 2, get them an exact estimate, send a small invoice to get started and begin on the first items in the estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our staff comes from agencies and studios and are all considered experts in their field (strategy, design, programming, marketing, etc)
