Professional, calm and unflappable while meeting deadlines in a timely manner: The most recent newsletter had a tight deadline and needed a quick turn-around. Not only did Megan meet this deadline, she finished a few days earlier than expected. During the editing process we often make changes to the layout and design of our newsletter Megan is able to assess ahead of time if a desired change will work with the number of pages we are working with and able to suggest ways of working with the information to effectively communicate our message. Good eye for design: First draft is always well put together in a logical way with an excellent eye for design. This has enabled the editing process to go quickly (saving us money). Megan’s eye for design has created a clean, crisp modern looking newsletter that is quickly growing in popularity and interest. As a department at the University of Minnesota, our newsletter is an important marketing tool, we require a current look. Megan’s work on our newsletter reflects this requirement. After this recent newsletter my supervisor sent me this email: The Newsletter is outstanding. It looks so professional, and, even more important for our mission, makes the department, our faculty, students, staff and all the varied research look so alive, interesting and current. Megan is one of the best designers I've ever worked with. She is an expert at balancing input from the client with her own knowledge and the result is always an end product that is high quality and perfect for the occasion. She works fast and is SO friendly. You can't go wrong with Megan.

    I helped the local toy maker Play from Scratch finalize their logo and build out their brand and design assets. It was exciting to be part of something just getting off the ground.
